If I need to survive I'm gonna need a hell of a lot more caffeine. It has been almost three hours since I'm tryna explain this douchebag about the activities of each floor and the company has seventeen floors in total. We started from the bottom floor and now we are on the 10th. In these three hours he almost flirted with every woman who laid their eyes on him. I mean it's not his fault entirely, those ladies are also drooling over him. Now I feel like I don't know these people at all. Like if he gives them another of his stupid smiles with the dimple they will start removing their clothes. I looked at him as my coffee was getting ready in the vending machine. He was on his phone. He was either on his phone or flirting with ladies or making some random jokes. He was not paying attention to anything I was saying.

We were taking a ten minute break. No, I was taking the break because he ate half of my brain and he was taking the break since the moment he arrived here. Taking my hot coffee out I sat on the chair next to him. Suddenly his behaviour changed. He started breathing out as if trying hard not to sniff the smell of coffee. I chuckled. "Would you look at that? All this macho man and can't even handle the bitter smell of the coffee!" He also chuckled "don't underestimate me, brownie. I would love me some bitterness." I was about to roll my eyes again but stopped myself for good reason. "You know this coffee is still steaming hot. One more nasty word from your mouth and it's landing right on your face." He looked terrified, which was good.

After a long pause we were back on track. "And this is my office." I said after opening the door to my office. He entered, hands in his pockets. "I see, what do you do in here all day?" I raised my eyebrow. "What I do? I make barbie dolls here!" "oh really?  You should lemme help you sometime, you know?" I pressed my lips together, preventing the small smile. Dude has some sense of humour. "Okay, shut up and pay attention now." We walked towards my desk. "From here.." I Pointed at my computer "I control every activity that is being held on different floors." He nodded, "so which part my grandpa does?" I gave him a confused look. "Well since, I'm gonna be in grandpa's position soon, I wanted to know my responsibility." "slow down there, dreamboy and I think it would be perfect if Mr. Ainsworth explains it to you himself." which I believe he wouldn't because you don't deserve this position.

The day had finally come to the end. It was 6 pm. I started walking as my car was parked somewhere else when out of nowhere I heard someone honking at me. What the... I turned and it was Mr. Douchebag himself, in his Porsche. He came right beside me. "Lemme give you a ride home, brownie." This is the fourth time I've heard him calling me that. "Stop calling me that and I have my own car nearby so no, thank you." "why?" "why what?" "why don't you want me to call you brownie. I like brownies." Dealing with his double meaning jokes is the last thing I want to do right now. "Just go home and remember to check your emails tonight." without giving him a second to reply I started walking. He has everything but the capacity of being a CEO. If he actually becomes the CEO now, this whole company is going down but I also trust Mr. Ainsworth enough to know that he wouldn't take this much risk.

"It was pretty boring to be honest." I told my best friend, Matt, when he asked me how my first day at the office was. I took a sip of my drink. "Any hot girls there?" "There are plenty. Most of them are older. Which is more than fine." Matt chuckled. "that is some goof ass fortune. What about the manager girl you mentioned earlier? Is she hot? Considering you'll spend more time with her." I shrugged before answering. "I mean she's pretty but really not my type." "Come on, dude you're always up to try new things. You don't have any ideal type." I laughed at Matt. He was right. I didn't have any ideal type. "I don't know, bro. She's all covered up. So, I don't feel that physical attraction for her." Matt gave a confused look. "What do you mean all covered up?" "she's a muslim so she puts on the hijab." this time he was shocked. "So you're tellin me a muslim girl is the manager of Ainsworth Oracles?" "she sure is" I said as I took another sip of my drink. "You know, these people really freak me out?" "What do you mean they freak you out?" He shrugged before answering. "I don't know bro. Like imagine covering yourself 24/7! How come you stayed with her the whole day? Didn't she freak you out or something?" I looked at him and couldn't believe my best friend had this cheap mentality. "She's the one covering herself. Why would it bother you, me or anyone else? As long as we mind our own businesses, I don't give a shit about her appearance or something. She can wear whatever she wants."

Me and Matt were having our conversation until we got interrupted by "hope we're not interrupting." I turned around and saw two girls. A brunette and a blonde. Both of them were wearing mini dresses. One red, the other black. They were hot. "Of course not ladies." Matt replied meanwhile me and the blonde one were making some eye contacts.

------------------------------------------

My eyes got opened by the sunlight that was peaking through the window. I was tryna get more sleep but the noises from outside were making it nearly impossible. Is Mr. Robert cutting the grass again? Indeed he is. I groaned and turned to the other side but something got into my eyes. It was hair. Blonde hair more precisely. My eyes went to the big ass clock on my wall before I closed them again. Wait what? 9:13 am? Realisation suddenly hit me. I got up so fast that the blondie beside me also woke up. What was her name? Veronica? Monica? That wasn't important now. "What are you doing?" she asked me, still half asleep. "I really don't have the time to explain right now. I had to be somewhere at 7:30 and I'm late. I'm so sorry." I put on my boxers and went to the shower as soon as possible.

"Thank god, grandpa is out of town." I said under my breath as I started to drive. By the time I came out of the shower the blondie was already gone. I stopped at the stop sign. "Brownie is gonna have a lot to tell me today"

Knocking on brownie's door I waited until I had the permission to enter and when I did I pushed the door open and found Duaa typing something on her computer. "put the files on the desk, Carlo." she said without looking up from the screen. "I'm not sure if I'm the Carlo you wanted." She looked at me, completely pissed and I did the thing I could do the best. I smiled at her.
