𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 (ɢᴏʟᴅᴇɴ ɢᴜᴀʀᴅ x ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ)

𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙨

The sun was painted orange, pink, and purple. You yawned as the sun was setting. You walked with Hunter from the library as he told you about the books he read lately. You smiled at the boy. It would have been an even more wonderful day if your headaches would stop tempting you to rip your brain from your skull. Once you turned the corner you almost ran into Raine. Your face brightens at the sight of your favorite adult witch. Raine smiled widened when seeing you and raised an eyebrow when seeing Hunter with you. 

"Hey kiddo, how are you?" They asked.

"I'm doing good, we just came back from the library, it's been good." You replied.

You chatted for a while until Hunter realized he forgot one of the books he checked out at the library. You said you would wait for him here until he came back. You were asking about Raine's new music piece when your head felt like you got stabbed in the brain. You groaned and the sudden pain, cursing under your breath.

 Raine looked at you in concern, "Everything alright kiddo?"

You nodded, "My headaches have been coming and going recently. They're not that bad though, I just need to have my weekly brew." 

"Oh, seedling~"A voice called.

Speak of the devil because she's wearing heels. Raine frowned in response to the wayyyyy older witch approaching. Immediately they put on a fake smile, greeting the head of the plant coven. 

"Evening head witch, Snapdragon." You greeted with a small smile.

She patted you on the head and turned to Raine, "Oh hello sprout. Didn't know you would be here. Well don't mind me, I'm just here for a little drop-off."

She handed you your weekly brew. It was tea... It tasted terrible but it usually was in a form of a dessert or something. Always being plant-based. The tea was the worst one of them all. You forced a smile as you thanked her. 

"Make sure you drink it all. And remember I'll know if you don't." She said a little harshly in the last sentence.

As she walked away, Raine and you immediately drop your fake smiles. While you cringed at the tea, Raine rolled their eyes at Terra Snapdragon. They turned to you chucking at your reaction.

They took the drink from you,  "Here, this is a little trick I taught myself when I was younger."

Raine brought the tea close to their mouth and whistled into it. They gave it back to you, the drink smelled better. You were about to take a sip until you turned to Raine. 

"You didn't spit in it did you?" You raised a brow in suspension.

Raine laughed, "No I didn't spit in it I promise."

Once you took a sip your eyes widened. It was amazing! You drank it all so quickly, Raine thought you were going to choke.

"That was...amazing! How did you do that?" You said enthusiastically.

"Im just that good," they smiled confidently, "I'm just kidding, I use the sound waves to change the chemistry of liquids." 

"You are...so....cool! People seriously underestimate Bard's magic." You said

"That's what I keep saying!" Raine exclaimed.

You both laughed, before Raine could say anything else Hunter approached. You nodded at the Bard cover member before turning to you. Raine gave Hunter a look.
