"Then the girls and I fell into the pool!" Danielle exclaimed. "That's so funny baby!" I say as you stare down at the book I'm reading

It was the middle of the day and Danielle came over to hang out with me. I'm wearing simple gray sweats and a white sports bra and Danielle is in jean shorts and a pink tight fitting cropped top.

Danielle notices me not looking at her. She huffs crossing her arms. "Babe are you even listening to me? I just told a really funny story ."
"Wow! That's so crazy" I say staring at the book "Y/NNNN" listen to me!" Danielle complains "don't worry baby I am" I say as you flip the page.

Danielle looks at me and then rolls her eyes. She crosses her arms looking at the tv in front of her which wasn't even on. All she wanted was my attention for 5 minutes but I'm to focused on my book.

Suddenly she had an idea. She quickly grabbed my book out of my hands throwing it on the other side of the bed. "Danielle!" I say in shock as I follow the book wide eyed. Not wanting it to fall on the floor.

I turn back to see Danielle straddling me face to face. On instinct my hands go to rest on her thighs. "Babe what was that for" I asked looking up at her "you weren't paying attention to me." Danielle says as she rest her hands on my shoulders. "Yes I was!" I defended myself " really?" She asks I nod. "Ok what was I talking about?" She challenges me.

I turn away not looking in her in the eyes cause I know I wasn't listening to her. "Ummmm...dance practice." I hesitated " No. See you weren't listening." She quickly replies "I'm sorry baby, but my book just got really good." I say "What about your girlfriend. It's one of her only days off and she wants to spend it with you." She looks me straight in the eyes pleading with me

"Ok. I'm sorry. What do you want to tell me about?" I say full attention on her now. She smiles and leans in to kiss me quickly. "Thank you."she says as she pulls away. "What I was saying was..."
