Practice visit

The music was blaring as I stepped into the NewJeans practice room. I watched as Danielle and the girls go over the choreography for ETA since the music video was gonna be filmed in a couple of days. Danielle looked flawless going over the chreo. She was smiling even though the cameras weren't even out.

Since the release of their new EP, Danielle has been working really hard. She wakes up early to get to work and comes home late. I miss her so I brought her a strawberry smoothie as an excuse to come and see her.

I lean against the doorframe sipping my smoothie holding her's in my other hand and I watch her. I smile at myself...my girlfriend is so talented. Suddenly the music stops signaling the end of the song and a break for the girls.

Danielle looks down placing her hands on her knees to catch her breath. When she looks up our eyes lock. Her exhausted expression changes into a more excited look, and before I know it she takes off running. I quickly set the drinks down, and open my arms ready to catch Danielle.

Danielle jumps in my arms throwing her hands around my neck and I spin her around lifting her feet off the ground. She lets out a giggle before I set her feet back down. She doesn't let go, her arms tighten around my neck pulling me closer and I can't help but melt into the embrace.

"Baby! I've missed you!" she squeals. "I missed you too." I reply looking her in the eyes "Good." she replies before standing on her tippy toes and leaning in for a kiss.

My eyes flutter shut as I tighten my grip around her waist pulling her closer. Her lips are so soft, I've definitely missed these. Danielle moves her hands to my face pulling me down so her feet could fully touch the ground without breaking the kiss.

Everything around me fades and all I can feel is Danielle, all I can think of is Danielle. I love the way Danielle maintains this ability to pull me into this trace, where I forget about everyone and everything and I can only focus on her. It got, and I'm down with it.

"Hey, guys!" Minji shouts clapping breaking me out of the trance. " You know there are people still in here, right?" Minji continued. We look over to the girls seeing them all looking at us awkwardly. Me and Danielle nervously laugh.

"Hurry up with whatever you doing." Hanni spoke, "We have to get back to rehearsal." Hanni finished and walked back to her place in front of the mirror.

"That is true, I do have to get back to practice." Dani sadly said. "I brought you a strawberry smoothie," I said as I went over to grab it. "How did you know!" Danielle said jumping up and down and clapping her hands. "I've been craving a strawberry smoothie all morning." she smiles as I hand her the smoothie.

"I'm just awesome like that." I brag "Mhmm" she hums as she sips her smoothie looking up at me with her big brown eyes. She looked incredibly cute, and I couldn't stop myself from awwing. I lift her chin quickly kissing her lips, she tasted like strawberries. She chuckles pecking me back on the lips. "You're cute" I sigh. "I know," she replies.

"I'm gonna go now," I say as I head for the door. "Wait!" Danielle says as she runs up to me wrapping me in a hug. I laugh placing my hands around her waist. " I miss you already." she sighs.

"Dani lets go!" Hanni says a little bit annoyed. I watch as the girls get back into the starting formation. " You better go," I say kissing her on her head. " Yep, I should," she says as she backs out of the hug. " Love you," I say slowly walk backward towards the exit. " Love you too." she smiles as she walks backward towards the girls. I smile to myself as I turn around and exit the practice room.
