Breathe in... Breathe out...
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

Oh well, that means my moment has ended. At least I could just relax a bit before this all goes downhill- oh yeah... there's the game. The stupid ass game that some weirdo set us up with, let's just hope today isn't going to be a bad one by any means.

I slowly rose up from my bed and went into the bathroom to freshen up a bit, like untangling my hair, wash my face, regaining my thoughts...

I slowly opened the door outside, it was still dark out. Huh. I looked at the clock, it said '5:58 A.M.' wait, the school's daytime hour is at 8. So I'm technically not supposed to be outside right now. But, oh well, might as well get something to drink at the kitchen. As I was on my way, I saw Golf Ball standing in some sort of garden, a location i've never been to during my stay. She's standing there, suspiciously.

I decided to tip-toe across the glasshouse entrance. "Hey, I know you're there." GB spoke. "...Yeah, yeah. It's me." I sighed reluctantly. "Bah, I had a hunch it was you, hey, c'mere for a sec." She gestured me to come over to her. I followed. "May I ask what exactly are you doing?" I asked. "Oh, just trying to make a contraption to help us escape, of course." She answered confidently.

Huh, why is she trying to break the glass at this time? Was she trying to get herself killed?

Golf Ball suddenly held my wrist rather harshly. "Hey, hold on to this for a bit." My hand was holding a wrench of some sort, and it's clear she made it herself. "So this goes here... and that goes here..." I heard little murmurs of her trying to get the cannon working.
She held out her hand, I handed the weird wrench to her and then got back to work. "Now, this magnificent contraption will blast a big bomb and then will break the glass, in turn making an exit! Very nice, isn't it?" She said. I just stood there, bewildered.

I sighed "You know that's a fake sky-" "Here wear this, you're going to witness the most extraordinary moment yet!" GB handed me some safety glasses. "Hold on to your hats!" She pushed a button, smoke was coming out of the cannon, then...

Nothing happened.

"W-wha? What did I do wrong?" She went over to the faulty cannon, hmm. Why would she make something that doesn't work? I'm genuinely curious as to her talent. Is she a tech scientist or no? "No no no! This was supposed to work!"
"If you mess up, don't blame me." I scoffed, exiting the glasshouse. What a waste of time.

I finally arrived to the kitchen, it was strangely dark, only lit up with a small light. And I saw a silhouette of a person, and it wasn't a little person. It was tall, and dark. Hunched over a table in the dining hall, I practically tip-toed over to the body and instinctively tapped my finger on their shoulder. Then suddenly, they sprung up rapidly. I stepped back a bit.

"...What the hell?" I murmured. The figure was Black Hole, was he sleeping here the whole time? Geez, I'm concerned. "Ugh... what time is it...?" He groaned. I looked at a nearby clock, it said '7:10 AM'. God, this feels like an eternity. "Are you here to kill me or something..."

I froze. No no, why would he think that? If I was gonna kill someone at this time, I would've already killed Golf Ball by now. But, well, I do have a normal life so I wouldn't do that.

"No! I mean- why the fuck would I do that!?" I yelled. "Oh, I see." He said nonchalantly.
"Were you here the entire time?" I asked, concerned for his well-being. "Yeah, I guess. It's just a habit now, college has been ruining my sleeping time." He mumbled.
"Huh. Just sleep in your room next time, yeah?" I patted his back. "Yeah yeah..." Then he slumped back down onto the table. Hm, didn't know college students were this tired.
