. . .
"Mom, are you sure you want me to go?" I asked, my mom whipping up breakfast in the kitchen. She hesitated a bit. "It's okay, sweetie. You might make some new friends, that's great right?" I thought a bit. This was my first time going to another school, a more famous one, even. My school knows I'm going, yes. But I don't really know if my friends are going.
My mom came up and placed a plate of Yoyle Berry Pancakes. "Eat up, you're going to Dream Island Academy tomorrow, no?" I took a bite of my breakfast before talking. "Yeah, I'm not sure if i'll fit in."
"Oh, Liy. I'm sure you'll find somebody to talk to. And I mean it." My mom spoke up, placing her hands on my shoulders. "Just, try to open up to them, if you don't fit in, then it's okay! There must be more people around to help out." She hugged me. "Thanks, mom." I smiled.I miss her now.
"Go on, eat up those pancakes! Gain some energy for tomorrow!" She spoke, going to do the laundry.
"Don't forget to take the medication your doctor prescribed you, it's for your own good.". . .
Two months ago.
"Ms. Switch, I have examined your daughter for months now." My personal psychiatrist reported to the mother. "Even though she has been improving greatly due to the medication I prescribed her..." She hesitated a bit before continuing. "In recent times, she is having signs of an unusual behavior which I cannot identify."
The woman did not respond to her daughter's psychiatrist. She had been there for a few months now, because the kid said that she 'wanted someone to talk to'. "Please continue. I don't fully understand what is going on, I apologize." The mother looked at her daughter, with concern in her eyes.
But Liy is eavesdropping on all of it.
The psychiatrist proceeds to pull out documents. "So, your daughter has drastically become suspicious of others, especially her classmates. She told me that she doesn't trust anyone nowadays, even teachers." She explains, flipping through documents. "I've also noticed that she didn't really answer any of my questions, and was extremely tired."
"Her teachers also told me that she had sudden mood swings at school, disrupting other students, and has been eating less and less." The mother could only listen to what the expert was talking about. "Is there anything you can do to fix this? I'm worried about my daughter." The mother asked. "Well, I don't know. I haven't yet encountered a patient with this type of condition. I sincerely apologize, but I'll prescribe a new medication for her. Please give me some time to think about it."
The girl who slept there could only listen to the conversation.
There was nothing wrong with her.She knows it well.
She's tired of others lying behind her back.Stupid of them.
She wishes she will leave them behind.
To see what they would do without her..
.
.I regret leaving everything.
I miss everyone in my life.
I... left everyone who values me.And in the end, I am stuck in this purgatory.
A place in which death is a game of Russian Roulette.
