There's always that one person who's always there for you when you need them. The one who picks you up when you fall, the one who takes you home when you're drunk, the one who you turn to when you have problem with your love life. You know that one friend people treat like she's one of the guys.

Yup that's me, To him I was one of the guys, the one who he calls when he's so drunk and needs someone to drive him home. If he doesn't call me when he's drunk he calls in the morning to help him escape the girl who he slept with and doesn't want to deal with. Just like I was about to do.

I brushed my long brown hair and tied it in a messy bun and slipped my Black skinny, gray sweater and my gray vans then rushed down stairs to the door.

"I'm leaving" I called grabbing my keys and wallet.

"Pick up Tina from soccer on your way back" My mum called.

"Okay"

"Drive safely, Jade"

I got into my blue mini cooper that I got for my birthday from my parents last year. Before you get the wrong idea, my parents weren't loaded with money or gave me all I want so easily. I had to do house chores of a whole year in one month, worked in my dad shop without a salary which I still am, agreed to drive my little sister everywhere and on top all of that have to work in the diner down town to be able to afford the car's gas and the new X box I wanted. I had to work hard to earn my car. This was my baby.

I drove to the address that my best friend texted me, witch wasn't that far from my house, it was like only 3 blocks away. When I got to the house I saw my asshole of a friend leaning on a tree in his light brown shorts, black shirt that was half buttoned down, some black vans with a pair of shades.

I stopped the car by the side walk and waited for him to get in; when he did he rested his head back rubbing his forehead. His smelled like beer, his blondish hair was a mess and his cheeks were slightly red.

"You okay, Dana?" I asked handing him his coffee that I picked up from the house on the way out.

"No, I feel tired as fuck" He whined like a little baby.

"No one forced you to drink"

"Shut up, book worm" He said.

I rolled my eyes "Why did I ever become friends with you? There was like more than a hundred student in our school, Why me? Why did you pick me?" I said

"Because most people that attended to our school are assholes, bitches, fake and let's not forget guys who only want to be popular along with girls who just want to fuck and tell their friends" He said.

"But still" I said.

"I choose you because I knew that there's no way you would fall for me and there's no way I would fall for you which makes it perfect, We have those kind of friendship that never turn into love and fuck everything up" he said sipping on his coffee.

The little did he know that I was already in love with him.

But like he just said, he can never fall in love with me. Guys like him never fall girls like me, I knew that I wasn't pretty enough for him. I was short, chubby, had brown hair, brown eyes, play video games, watch geeky shows all the time and wear guy's cloths because I was insecure. I wasn't his type.

His type was those kinds of girls who would wear heels, shorts, skirts and tight tops, blonds, who are beautiful, skinny and girly.

"Do you want go to your house or mine?" I asked.
