I know I took too long to update but I have a perfect excuse, I'm in the middle of my break and I've been sleeping all break. My boyfriend and friends traveled away for the break, and my surgery is next week or the one after so I thought might as well write before then. I'm currently working on the next chapter so stay tuned 😂.

"Are you ready to go, babe?" Michel asked as I stuffed my stuff in my bag.

I turned and gave him a death stair "Don't call me that" I said.

He just chuckled then smirked as he walk toward me slowly "Now, now" he started "Remember sweet heart, we have a bet. You do whatever I tell you in order to keep my mouth shut"

He stood in front of me as stroked my right cheek gently, as he looked me in the eyes. Honestly, I felt something steer in my heart, something warm and nice.

"So I get to call you whatever I want" he pointed out "Got that?"

"Yeah" I said as I rolled my eyes.

He grabbed my chin gently and made me look him in the eyes "Yeah?"

"Yeah, Hubby" I said biting my tongue.

He chuckled then kissed my cheek "Good girl" he petted my head then walked to the door with my bag on his shoulder.

"What am I? A dog" I said.

"Not just any dog, babe" he smiled "You're mine"

I followed him outside and kept my mouth shut because I knew that I was going to say something bad or cures him.

"Why are you so quiet?" he asked.

"My mum taught me that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all" I said.

He just chuckled.

"Are you tired?" he asked.

"Not really, why?" I said.

"Good because I'm taking you shopping"

"Shopping? What for?" I asked.

"I'm taking you to a fundraise, tonight" he said amused "As my date"

"What fundraise?" I asked.

"A orphanage, it's a themed one" he said "Vintage, as in 1950's"

"Fuck no" I said.

"You don't get to say no, Cupcake" I said.

I just let out a loud sigh while I rolled my eyes. When we reached Michel's car, he politely opened the door for me like a gentleman. The funny thing is, no guy ever opened a door for me before; it made me feel special.

The second he noticed the blush that covered my cheeks, he smirked "Oh she blushes too"

"Get lost, Michel" I said loudly as he closed the door.

He gets in the car and gives me a warm smile "Just Mitch"

"I don't think so" I said "Calling you by a nickname indicates that we're close friends or something"

"Think of it this way" he says "I'm blackmailing you, so whether you like it or not, we are close friends"

I just roll my eyes and rest my head on the window, my mind then started to wonder off the second that he started driving. We arrived at downtown street a couple of minutes later, the lot was almost empty which meant there wasn't a lot of people here; which by the way made me so much better.

As we walked around, I looked around for something decent place to shop in.

We walked into a small vintage shop, they had some old vintage cloths and antiques. The second we walked into the shop, the sound of bells echoed through the shop, which made the shop keeper come out from inside the backroom. She looked like she was at least in her 60's, wrinkles covered her cheeks and forehead, hair was fully gray, and had a big smile on her face.
