Chapter 8

I let out a groan as I tried to hack into the building. I still had a massive hangover from the night before. I could hardly think as everything hurt and all I really wanted to do was go back to bed.

"This isn't working!" I yelled as Hunter took out a droid behind me.

"Okay! Time for plan G!" Tech called out to us.

"Don't you mean plan B?" Echo asked with a frown.

"No, we tried plan B, a long time ago. I had to skip over plan C due to technical difficulties." Tech explained as he shot a barrel and blew up ten droids.

"What about plan D?" Wrecker asked as he snapped a droid in half.

"Plan D was that desperate disguise attempt half an hour ago." I explained as I continued to work on the wires.

"What about plan E?" Hunter asked with a frown.

"I'm hoping not to use it. Echo dies in plan E." Tech said as Wrecker threw a piece of metal at the droids.

"I like plan E." Crosshair said through the com.

"Why do you even have a plan where I die!" Echo yelled angrily.

"Not important! Now let's get out of here!" Tech called out.

It was a known fact that we weren't the best with plans. Sometimes I wondered why we even came up with a plan, when in the end we always forgot it and came up with something else.

We started to make our escape, but before I knew it the floor caved in under me. I let out a scream as I felt the floor give out.

"(Y/n)!" Echo yelled as I fell onto the lower floor.

"Go! I'll catch up to you!" I called out to them.

I went to stand up, but realized that my leg had been injured. I let out a yelp as I forced myself onto my feet. With shaky legs I limped towards an exit. I pushed thru the door and came face to face with the end of a blaster.

"Sorry, bout this."

Instantly I was stunned and I passed out. When I finally came to I was laying in a cell and had cuffs in my hands.

"Where am I?" I asked with a groan.

"My ship." A voice said from in front of me.

I looked up and saw a bounty hunter standing outside my cell.

"Why did you capture me?" I asked with a frown.

"Because I know you're close friends to Senator Amidala. And I want something from her." He said as he stared down at me.

Of course this guy wanted me because of Padme. Nine out of ten people that captured me was doing it because of my friendship with her, the others were doing it because of Anakin.

"I'll never help you!" I snapped as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"You don't have a choice." He said as he turned on a hologram.

Padme appeared and I felt my heart skip a beat as they started to talk.

"I have your friend. Give me ten thousand credits and she will be returned to you unharmed."

"Whoa, whoa, wait, you think I'm only worth ten thousand credits?" I asked angrily.

"I-"

"Make it one million credits." I said with a huff.

"(Y/n)! STOP!" Hunter yelled as he appeared in the frame.

"I'm just saying, I'm an important person. I'm at least worth a million." I said shrugging my shoulders.

"I'm going to strangle you when we save you!" Hunter yelled angrily.

"Ten thousand or she dies. I'll be expecting a reply from you soon." The bounty Hunter said as he ended the conversation.

"So, what's your name?" I asked with a hum.

He stayed silent and I let out a huff.

"Hello! I'm talking to you. What's your name, you can at least give me that." I said with a frown.

"Boba Fett." He said with a sigh.

"Boba... oh you're the kid that almost killed Windu!" I exclaimed

He let out another sigh as I swung my legs back and forth. He shook his head and continued to work on cleaning his weapons.

"I'm a big fan. I hate Windu. He's a dick." I said as I let out is hum.

"Do you ever shut up?" He asked with a sigh.

"No, it's a medical condition... at least that's what Tech says." I said as I shrugged my shoulders.

For the next half hour I started to rant about the conditions of my room and about being hungry.

"That's it! I've had enough! Go!" Boba yelled as he unlocked my cell.

"I'm free to go?" I asked in shock.

"No amount of credits is worth listening to you... just.. go." He said as he rubbed the bridge of his nose.

"Okay, have a good day." I said as I walked away from him.

I left the ship and then left to find a dinner, where I contacted the boys. Within the hour they arrive to pick me up, with both Padme and Anakin.

"I was so worried about you!" Padme exclaimed.

"You have gotten so big! How have you been?" I asked hugging her back.

"Wonderful, though these one is a handful." She said with a laugh.

"Just like Ani." I whispered as I snot her a wink.

"Sadly, hopefully the baby will be like me." Padme said with a sigh.

I nodded my head in agreement and then let out a squeak as Wrecker rushed up and hugged me.

"I thought you were dead!" He exclaimed.

"Wrecker! Be gentle!" I yelled back.

He set me back down and smiled down at me. I turned and saw all of the boys walk in.

"In light of what happened, you can hug me for four to five seconds." Crosshair said holding his arms out.

"FORTY FIVE SECONDS?!?" I asked in shock.

"No! Four to five seconds!" He exclaimed.

"Too late!!!" I yelled as I tackled him in a hug.

He let out a grunt as my arms wrapped around his neck and I tightly hugged him. After awhile he let out a sigh and hugged me back, wrapping his arms tightly around my waist.

"What are we going to do with you, Cyar'ika." Crosshair mumbled into my neck.

'Hold me tight and never let go' was what I wanted to tell him, but instead I stayed silent and I hugged him as tight as I could. I would never admit it, but for a split second I thought that I wouldn't see them again. And that scared me, the thought of dying and not getting to see them one last time, scared me more than the thought of death.

I'd never admit it to them, let alone to myself, but that was the moment I knew I loved them. As I set in that cell thinking of them and how all I wanted was to be back with them, I knew that they were everything to me and all I wanted was for them to be happy and to live king and fruitful lives, even if I wasn't in their lives anymore.
