Angst

Obi-wan carried me to a shuttle and set me down next to a girl. As soon as my eyes landed on her, I felt tears start to form. I quickly whipped them away and forced myself to sit up. I leaned against the wall and let out a light laugh.

"You must be.... Leia." I said as I held onto my stomach. "Your father asked me... to come find... you."

She gave me a small nod and I let out a cough.

"You... you know you really are a spitting image of your mother." I said as she knelt down beside me.

"You knew my parents?" She asked as I reached out to her.

I have a small nod and took in a deep breath.

"Your mother.. was.. my best friend... and your father.. my.. br.. brother." I gasped out as I let out a cough.

The pain was unbearable and it was taking everything in me to speak, but something told me that I wouldn't get another chance to speak to Leia, and so I forced the pain down.

"You're my Aunt (Y/n)." She said as she stared down at me.

"I... I am."

She took my hands in hers and I let out a sigh. I gently brought her hand to my lips and kissed them. She freed one of her hands and pulled a kyber crystal out from under her shirt.

"You still have it." I whispered as I stared at the crystal.

"It's my good luck charm, I don't go anywhere without it." She explained as I stared up at her.

"Good... means... it worked." I said as I let out a light laugh.

I felt a sharp pain course thru me and I went into another coughing fit. Obi-wan made his way back over to me and forced me to lay flat on my back. He sent Leia a look, and she left without another word.

"You need to rest, it won't be long before we arrive on Alderaan." Obi-wan said as he laid my head down.

"Obi... we... we both know I'm not making it to Alderaan." I said as I smiled up at him.

He let out a sigh and looked away from me. With a groan, I moved my hand towards my belt and slid my notebook out. I used my last bit of strength to hold the book up.

"Give... this to the Bad Batch." I whispered as I smiled up at him.

"You can give it to them yourself." He said as he stared down at me.

"Please... just... give it to them.... And tell them... that I... I love them." I whispered as tears streamed down my face.

He gave me a small nod and took the notebook from my hands.

"There's... a letter for you in there as well." I said as I let out a cough.

"Why did you come?" He asked as tears started to stream down his face.

"I... wanted to see you... one last time." I said as I let out a light laugh.

He closed his eyes and I let out a sigh. I slowly reached up and gently cuffed his cheek.

"I've missed you, Obi."

"And I you."

"I... have a daughter.. her names Omega... she's.. she's a clone."

"What is she like?" He asked as he took my hand in his.

"She's amazing... she's... my whole world." I whispered as I felt my eyes start to droop. "I... love her so much... and I.. I hate that I'm leaving her... but I know.. I know she will be okay.. because... she has the boys.. and.. and they won't le-"

I felt a sharp pain course thru me and I let out a gasp as my eyes went wide and my mouth hung open. After a little bit my mouth slowly closed and I felt everything go dark.

(Third person)

Obi-wan set in silence for awhile as he stared down at (Y/n). Her eyes were wide and her mouth was opened a little.

"(Y/n)?" He asked as he stared down at her.

He felt her hand go limp and his heart stopped. He slowly laid her hand down onto her chest and moved his free hand up to her eyes. He slowly closed them as he leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss to the top of her head.

Tears slowly keeps down his cheeks as he stared down at the girl he had practically raised. The girl who had wormed her way into his heart, the girl who he thought would put live him.

He slowly whipped his eyes, before looking down at the notebook in his hand. With a shaky hand he opened it up to see seven letters, each with a name on the front of them.

Tech

Echo

Wrecker

Crosshair

Hunter

Omega

Obi-wan

When he got to his name his heart shattered and he slowly picked the letter up and opened it with shaky hands.

Dear Obi,

If this letter has reached you, then I'm dead. I probably died doing something stupid. But I guess it doesn't really matter. I am writing this letter to you, to say goodbye.

I never got to actually say that to you ten years ago. I left far to quickly and... without so much as a word. I knew that if I saw you, that I'd want to stay.

You see I never told you this, but you have always been like a father to me. Everything I have ever done was to try and get you to acknowledge me.

But now as I'm writing this, I wish I'd have gotten more time with you and Anakin. I miss him... and I have missed you. I miss the old days where we would laugh and pick on Ani. I miss when you would pretend to not know about Anakin and Padme... I miss the clone wars and.. I wish I could go back to when we had little to nothing to fear.

Goodbye Obj-wan and... protect Leia and Luke.

Love, (Y/n) (L/n)

Obi-wan's heart sank as he stared down at the letter. In truth, he had seen her as his child. The girl had been his whole world and he'd have given up everything to hold her in his arms once more.
