You stared at the plate in front of you and so did jungkook in pure silence. There was a look of pure shock and ridicule over your face while jungkook kept on glancing between you and the plate in front of him.
"What the. . . This is disappointing,"
You say your eyebrows furrowing as you frown hard. Jungkook just watches you silently.
"I mean can you believe it? Look how pretty and edible it looks in the picture-but here? On the plate? It doesn't even look like something a sane person would eat!"
You express your anger and disappointment while showing the picture of inspiration to jungkook who purses his lips in a thin line.
"I woke up at six in the morning and spent two hours to make this couple's special breakfast and this is how it turns out like? I am so disappointed!"
You slam your hand over the table as you shut your eyes in embarrassment. You were going through Pinterest a couple of days ago when you saw this dish in your recommendations and you decided to try it because of how pretty and cute it looked.
Unfortunately it didn't turn out the way it appeared in the picture. Instead it looked like something that belonged to the other world. Something that would fall from the sky mysteriously.
"It is not that bad yn i am sure it tastes good."
Jungkook says before lifting his fork up to take a bite of the food you had prepared.
After knowing you put so much effort and thought into it, it didn't matter how it looked he was ready to eat it all.
You instantly shot your eyes up at him from the disappointment of a dish you had made as you instantly held his hand preventing him from digging into the food.
Jungkook looked up at you with a confused look as you shook your head in a no before parting your lips as you spoke.
"No jungkook you should not eat this. I won't allow you to have something like this early in the morning. You have already been to the hospital once because of the cake I made and i am not letting that happen again. I'll just throw this and make toast for the two of us,"
You finished speaking as you extended your hand to pick his plate up but jungkook held your hand as he spoke.
"Don't worry yn nothing of that sort is going to happen i am sure it doesn't taste as bad as it looks,"
He says trying to convince you as he tries to take a bite but you quickly pull the plate towards you with the help of your other free hand.
"No jungkook no one is eating this. I am never trying anything from Pinterest again."
You say as jungkook sighs before speaking gently.
"It's not your fault yn they must have not provided you with precise measurements which are really crucial when you are cooking something new."
He says so that you don't feel disheartened and end up blaming yourself for something which wasn't your fault anyways.
You look up at jungkook before pouting as you puff your cheeks up.
"Whatever. . . I had so much planned out honestly but it all went down the drain."
You say as you cross your arms and look away sighing in disappointment. You had imagined the look of amazement over jungkook's face when you would serve him the special breakfast you had prepared.
You had imagined silly pictures that you would take together while having your breakfast but now you felt so low.
"It's the effort that matters yn."
