The next day you wake up at some time past ten in the morning.

You yawn and stretch your arms a bit as you turn to your side wanting to know if jihyo was awake or asleep.

Although you are surprised as jihyo is not by your side, you slowly sit up as you push the blanket away and get down the bed.

You walk out of the bedroom to find jihyo in the living room, sitting on the couch with her phone in her hand as she's attentively reading something.

"Hey, good morning jihyo."

You say as you settle down on the couch in front of her, jihyo looks up at you surprised before smiling at you.

"Good morning to you too, where's your phone? Did you check it?"

You frown a bit before remembering that your phone was still inside the bedroom as you speak.

"Ah, I think it's inside the bedroom but what are you talking about?"

You ask confused as jihyo hands her phone to you and you take it hesitantly before she starts speaking.

"I got an email from the University,"

Jihyo says as she pauses briefly you look up at her feeling surprised before looking down at the phone as you read the email.

"Classes start from next week onwards,"

Jihyo says as she lets you read the rest of the email, you go through the entire mail thoroughly before getting up and fetching your phone.

You quickly unlock your phone and within a couple of minutes you do receive a notification.

You click on the notification bubble and are directly taken to the mailbox as you read the mail that you had received from the University indeed.

After a few minutes of reading the mail you put your phone away as you look up at jihyo who's already looking at you.

"Well. . I guess it's time for back to school?"

You say and jihyo nods before smiling a little as she speaks,
"The only difference being it's back to university and not just school anymore,"

Jihyo pauses and you nod as you take in a deep breath, why do you suddenly feel so old? So grown up?

What's this feeling? Your chest feels heavy, you are worried but at the same time excited to go to your dream University.

You are a bit confused by the contrast between your emotions but you try to keep yourself calm and composed.

"Did you tell your parents about this? They might come over to drop you on the first day,"

You say knowing that jihyo's parents lived away but they definitely wouldn't miss the chance of dropping her to the university on her very first day.

Getting into this university meant a lot to both you and jihyo.

"I did text mom about it maybe they'll call me later,"

Says jihyo as you nod before feeling that there was a need to tease her, this was such a golden opportunity and you wouldn't be her best friend if you missed this chance!

With a mischievous grin taking over your lips you say in teasing tone,
"I am sure it's not just your mother you texted about this, right?"

You say as jihyo glances up at you while you wiggle your eyebrows at her causing jihyo to scold you all the while she tries to refrain from blushing.

"Stop it yn! For god's sake you just woke up-

Jihyo is in the midst of giving you an earful but you cut her off as you speak again in a sing-a-song manner.
