After putting Kiah in the car I rolled down her window and closed her door and turned to face Yanna "Whats up" she sighed "I wanted to apologize for yesterday I didn't know Danni was going to be there I should have made her leave and I apologize for putting you into that situation" I nodded "Its cool I'm not sweating it and Im sorry for turning up at your house" she laughed "Don't worry I had one of the trap boys scrub the blood up". I laughed but stopped when the door closed I looked up to see Kari and Keem walking out "Looks like we bout to go y'all have fun I'll have Kari set something up so we can hang out" I nodded "Ok just don't bring Danni and we good" she nodded and walked away I got in the car and waited for Kari to get in on his side. Starting the car up he put on some music and pulled off.
When we pulled up to the carnival Kiah squealed "Lets go let's go" I laughed as she opened her door "Ok slow down" Kari jogged after her as she ran to the line I closed the door and Kari hit the lock. "Can I get the wrist bands for unlimited games and rides" the woman pulled out three gave us all one Kari grabbed Kiah hand "Ok midget which ride first" she looked around "The marry-go-round" he sighed "Aight let's go"she ran off pulling him right along with her. I had been to the carnival a couple times not with Brian "My dad" but our maid took me a couple times I didn't really like the rides but I liked the games the Marry -go-round was the most boring ride but I rode it for Kiah. We want from ride to ride laughing and even played a couple games but you can tell it was about to get dark because the rides started to light up "Daddy let's get on the roller coaster" he looked over at Kiah "You don't wanna eat first" she shook her head no and he nodded we walked towards the roller coaster called the crazy coaster.
The roller coaster ride was wild I'm not go lie I'm afraid of heights but I didn't show it. "Lets get cotton candy" Kiah pulled me towards the stand but soon as we reached shots rang out I covered Kiah and Kari jumped in front of me firing back at whoever it was "Get to the car now leave" he threw me the keys and I made my way to truck in all the chaos of the running and screaming soon as I hopped in the truck I put Kiah in the passenger seat put the keys in the ignition and pulled off "Buckle up baby" I looked over at Kiah as tears poured down her face "Its ok baby calm down" she sniffled "Where's daddy" "He'll be home later baby" I drove down the road and cut on the GPS so we could get home I was upset I couldn't call out on my phone I needed to call Keem to let him know what was going on. The closer we got to the house the faster I drove I wanted to get Kiah in and calm and get Ghost know to contact Keem.
Pulling up to the house I jumped out the truck and went to the passenger side to get Kiah out making sure she was ok was my main concern first I got to the door unlocked it "Ghost step inside for a second" he nodded I layer a now sleeping Kiah on the couch and turned to Ghost "I left Kari at the fair somebody started shooting at us and he told me to leave I need you to contact Keem and some of the boys" he nodded and exited the house. I turned back to Kiah picking her up I took her to her room layed her on the bed pulled off her shoes and pulled off her dress I had to check and make sure she was free if any marks once I confirmed she was I put her on some pajamas and went to change out of my clothes I put on a big T-shirt and some shorts I left.my hair as is and went down stairs with my phone in hand going to the kitchen I grabbed me a glass and the henny I need a strong drink. I sat down with my cup and dialed Kari number I sat patiently waiting as it Rand when he didn't answer I sighed and took a sip from my cup I called again once again he didn't answer. Eight calls and three cups of henny later it was now 1 in the morning and I was pacing the floor in front of the door I was no longer worried I was full on afraid and I couldn't help but think the worse.
It was almost 2 in the morning I had called 6 more times and now I was just sitting on the island looking at the door waiting for it to open. I had been up to check on Kiah and she was still sound asleep now I was just hoping Kari came in unharmed picking up my phone I hit the talk button on Kari name and soon as it started to ring the door opened and he walked in with Ghost behind him. I hopped up and jumped on him hugging him tightly "Ahhh Max" I hopped off faster than I hopped on and noticed his arm bruised and bleeding "Damn Ghost can you get me the first aid" I looked at his arm and it only looked like a graze so I was just gonna clean it up and patch it up. As I cleaned his wound with peroxide I dabbed it with cotton balls "Where's Ja'Kiah" "She in her room sleep unharmed" he nodded as I rubbed neosporin on his graze. "What happened who was that shooting" he sighed "It was Von and some young nigga" I screwed my face up "I thought he was dead already" "Shit he is now I got my money I'm smooth" I put a bandage on it and looked at him. "What about Meko" "What about him" I rolled my eyes "Is he dead" he shook his head "No but he will be by tomorrow don't worry" I was skeptical but I trusted him.
Kari.....
I laid in bed with Max sitting on top of me "Why you all over me tonight" she shrugged "You was scared or something "Duh Kari you had me worried" I smiled "I ain't you cared about a nigga so much" she shrugged again "I didn't know either until tonight" I sat up kissing her lips "I'm always go be straight no need to worry but I do wanna thank you for holding it down for me" she smiled "Ain't that what I'm supposed to do" I nodded "Damn right especially if you go be my woman" she wrapped her arms around my neck being careful of my arm "And who said I want to be your woman" I smiled moving my hands to her ass and gripping it "I thought we made that clear the other day in the shower" she smiled leaning closer "I dont remeber how about you remind me" I smiled and pulled her shirt off smiling at how her boobs bounced "My pleasure". Dipping my head I got to work and let's just say we both went to sleep with smiles.
