I was glad when Kari came back and it honestly seemed like everything was good but boy was I wrong. The girls left that morning and Giovonna brought Kiah back we spent our weekend with her and just being in the house doing things we thought normal people did. Monday came and our morning started off normal after getting Kiah dressed we took her to school not only was it free dress day but it was half of day so she had on a pink shirt some blue jeans and pink low chucks her hair was in two French braids and I stood at the car watching her braids flowing in the wind. It wasn't until we had to pick her up that everything changed. I signed her out and as we made our way out to Kari to see some chick talking to him I held Kiah hand a little tighter and stopped right in front of Kari the woman turned seeing that Kari gaze averted over to us. "Daddy I had so much fun today we had free day we got to paint and make posters for the class" he smiled at Kiah "That's good baby get in the car" she nodded "Mommy can you help me" I looked at Kiah and nodded.
"Mommy...who the fuck is this bitch and why is my child calling her mommy" I looked at her for a moment and didn't say anything now figuring out she was Kiah's mom made me appreciate the fact that I decided to look cute for me and Kari breakfast date. Turning away I went and buckled Kiah in before coming back "Well first I advise you to cool it with the bitches and secondly my name is Max thirdly if you truly cared for your child you would've been there for her and instead of just smiling and introducing yourself you stood there and made yourself look like an ass cuss in front of her again and me and you will have a problem" she looked at Kari then back to me "So you just gone let this bitch talk to me like that" I poked my tongue with my jaw "Let me get in the car before I do something in front of these kids I won't regret" I climbed in the passenger seat and listened as she not only cussed Kari out but pleaded with him to let her have visitation with Kiah and tried to convince him that she was clean.
The last thing I heard before he got in the car was "Stay away from JaKiah Candice and I'm not playing" she glared at me as the car drove off. "Daddy who was that woman" he sighed "An old friend" she said oh and went back to playing on her tablet "Where we going daddy" "We going to GiGi's real fast" she started to bounce "Yay". I grabbed his right hand that was hanging from the arm rest and rubbed his knuckles "You ok" he looked at me momentarily before looking back at the road "Yea I'm straight I just can't believe that bitch popped up" I nodded "How did she know where you would be" "When she was pregnant we talked about a lot of stuff including what school we wanted Kiah in and when it was time to start her in school it just so happened that my mom enrolled her in the school me and Candice talked about and she been there ever since" I only but my inner lip and looked out the window.
When we pulled up to his moms house we all got out and walked up to the door Ace was sitting on the porch. "What's up boss" Kari nodded he looked at me and just smiled so I spoke "Hey Ace" he winked and spoke back "Sup uh boss your moms left with Los to pick some things up "Alright we go be inside is Micah here" Ace nodded and we walked in. Micah was sitting the couch facetiming Mack "Bae give me a few I'm go hit you back my brother just walked in" Mack said ok she blew him a kiss before hanging up. "Hey sis what's good bro" Kiah made her way to Micah and sat on her lap before Kari set on the couch next to her and I sat in the chair across from him "Hey Kiah how about you go to your room and play" Kari said she nodded and ran off and Micah looked at him strange.

"What was that about Kari" Micah asked I sighed and sat back "Her mom popped up at the school today" Micah mouthed dropped "What are you serious" she whisper yelled I nodded. "Yea man and I don't know what to tell her she asked in the car and said an old friend" I shook my head the door opened I looked over at my mom. "Who died" she asked Micah spoke up "No one died Candice showed up at Kiah school today" she came in the front room and sat down "Why for what" I sighed "She wants me to allow her to see Kiah she claim she clean" my mom sat back "Aw hell naw" I looked at her and shook my head "So Kari what are you going to do" Micah asked I shrugged. "I don't know she always talks about having a mom in her life but I don't think I want to put her in a situation as to where something dangerous can happen" my mom nodded in understanding "Did she look clean Kari" I shrugged "I don't know I guess she look better" my mom seemed to be in thought.
"Where's Kiah right now" I pointed "Her room" my mom sat back "I know you don't like this but you have to be honest with JaKiah about who she was" I sighed "I know mama I'll tell her tonight after dinner maybe butter he up with some ice cream or something" she laughed and I smirked "Anyways where did you take Los" she smiled "If you must know he took me to meet up with James I was going to go alone but he wasn't having it so he set in the car as me and James set by a window and had lunch" I nodded "Alright well we bout to get going I have other business to handle today". I got up hugged my mom kissed her forehead dapped up Micah and grabbed Kiah before leaving.

When Nia came to my door last week to tell me she saw Max and that she was with a little girl and some man I had to check out what she was talking about. So here I was sitting in the back of my Mercedes with tinted windows with my guard Wayne and the new guy I hired Luther staring at Max and the gentleman that took her off my hands for me get out of his car with a little girl and walk to his door that was guarded. I was hoping they didn't see us yes my windows were tinted and you could barely see out and my car was off just looking like a parked car but dumb ass Luther parked directly across the street in front of he gate. "So Luther you say you know the ins and out of the house right" he nodded "Yes sir" I smiled "Good I have a plan" Wayne shook his head "You sure boss this is your daughter" I laughed "Which makes it oh so much better trust me I'm her dad she would never suspect me" he sighed and we pulled off as they went into the house.
I just don't see why he couldn't do what I asked I mean seriously it wasn't hard but I guess the nigga fell in love and that's where he fucked up. I pulled up to my house hours later and sighed when I seen Nia outside she felt that since I was fucking her mom I would treat her like my daughter but little did she know she was I just didn't really are for her since her momma is hoe. Is it wrong yea but it is what it is. Walking past her I walked in the house to see her lazy ass mama laid out on my three thousand dollar couch watching some stupid ass show "Hoe get yo ass up" I hollered she looked at me rolling her eyes and set up "Where's Rosa" she shrugged and I sighed I walked into my office and sat back with a cigar to my lips and hit the buzzer "Luther get up here" I didn't let him say yes sir before cutting the intercom off and waiting. He knocked twice before coming in "I need you to give me his schedule the address of his different businesses and the places j can catch max alone got it" he nodded and left I scrolled through my contacts before stopping at his number and calling it I didn't care about whether he knew if it was me or not that young nigga didn't scare me. It rang twice before he picked up and I don't let him say hello when I started speaking "Listen Mr. Terrell this is a warning I hired you for one reason and one reason only and what I say today let me know you didn't do it so keep your eyes open and know I'm lurking in the shadows I'm coming for your head" was the last thing I said before I hung up. He better take head before he catch the wrong end of my gun.
