I woke up around 9 in he morning in a foreign room and Kari wasn't next to me but Kiah was. Looking around I noticed the different color walls and the different bed and dressers. I felt like I was waking up in Ja'Kari house the first night all over again because I was clueless as to who's home this was. Sliding out of bed careful not to wake up Kiah I went to go find Kari. I walked through he hallway checking all the rooms and my assumption of being in a different house was correct when I made it downstairs and saw different furniture "Ja'Kari" I hollered but was only heard my echo bounce I sighed and went to the front door I opened it and saw different men in suits heavily armed I almost walked out when I realized I had no bottoms on.
I closed the door back and went to the back door peeping out I realized it was another house next to this one and I was basically gated in looking over into the next yard I saw a shirtless Ceaser running with headphones on I didn't realize I was staring until he made eye contact with me and smiled he came my way "Good morning Ms. Maxine" I nodded "Good morning umm two questions where's Kari and where am I" he stuffed his hands in his pocket and my eyes drifter down his body following that action "The boss is out handling Business and you are at the new house" I sighed "Oh ok where are my things" "Upstairs second door on the right" I nodded "Thanks" he smiled stepping away and I closed the door.
Walking into the kitchen I opened the refrigerator and sighed it was empty and I was hungry and I knew Kiah would be too when she woke up so I walked up the stairs and followed his directions going to the second door on the right and low and behold me and Kiah bags set in the room on the floor. I went in my bag and picked an outfit out for myself then went into Kiah bag and did the same for her. I went to wake Kiah up so we could get washed and dressed whole in the tub I explained to Kiah that this was the new house and daddy would be home tonight.
After getting Kiah dressed in her blue jeans navy blue shirt and her pink purple and dark blue plaid blazer for some reason she asked me to put her ponytail to the side so I did she put on her own shoes while I got dressed. Since we weren't doing anything special today I threw on a beetles tshirt and some black jeans and some chucks my hair was down and parted in the middle. I grabbed my phone and purse and sighed when I realized I didn't have any car me and Kiah walked down stairs and we left out through the back door I didn't want her to see the men with the guns.
We walked over to the other where I saw Ceas running I knocked on his back door and waited for him to answer. He showed up moments later now fully dressed he opened the door and allowed us in but I declined "I was just wondering if you could take us grocery shopping" he nodded "Uh yeah I'll get the keys to the truck" I nodded and waited for him by the door. We started to walk towards the front but I stopped him "Uh what about the guys with the g.u.n.s" he spoke without looking at me "They trained to put them away upon you and Ms. Kiah's arrival" I nodded grabbing her hand and started back walking.
We found a market close by the house after parking I got out and helped Kiah. I grabbed a buggie on my way in Kiah stood in front of me on the buggie as I pushed "Just don't fall" she giggled "How can I fall if you behind me" I smiled "I just might move and let you go" she smirked "Nun uh you love you wouldn't let me fall" I just smiled "I mean I guess I love you a little bit" I walked down the to vegetables grabbing broccoli and Brussels sprouts which were Kiah's favorite and some asparagus for me. "Ok love dove what meat should we get" I asked she looked around "We can get chicken steak and burger" I nodded grabbing up the meats and went to the frozen foods "What snacks do we want" she got down and opened the freezer "I want pizza rolls tenders and fries".
I nodded and watched as she everything in the buggy I knew I would have to get grease "You want some fruit" I asked as she hopped back on the buggy she nodded "Yup I want Pineapple and strawberries oh and cuties" I laughed walking over to the fruit I got two of everything then went on to the chip aisle and juice aisle I even got her some lunchables but those were mainly for school. "I think we have enough for right now what you think" she looked in the basket at everything including the cereal and pancakes and things I picked up for breakfast food "Oh yea that's enough" I smiled walking to the register I would've did self check out but I felt it was too much. I paid for the groceries and made my way back to the car "So do you want me to cook when we get home or do you want to pick up something" she thought about it for a while "Can you make some tenders and fries" I nodded it was going on almost 12:30 and I figured she could skip breakfast just for today since it was technically lunch time.
