Micah convinced me not to go to our old house telling me it was too dangerous and besides I had more than myself to care for now I had a little girl depending on me. I knew she was right so I didn't go she stayed trying to keep my mind off of Kari but that didn't work especially when Cease showed up at the door with a bloody shirt and a bullet wound on his shoulder. I took him to the downstairs bathroom searching all the cabinets until I found a first aid kit and tended to his wounds. "Where's Kari" I asked as I cleaned his wound with peroxide he hissed "Sss I honestly don't know he disappeared once the fire died down" I gave a perplexed look "What do you mean disappeared". I grabbed the lighter and the spoon and began heating the spoon up "When me and ghost got there it was men everywhere and o was glad Ghost thought to call Keem and the boys while we were driving.
But when we got there we just started shooting niggas outside the house before we slowly made our way inside still firing Ghost called for Boss and he answered with a yea Ghost tried to follow where his voice came from and got shot" he paused to gain his composure "Deep breath" k said as I placed the spoon against his skin burning the hole close "FUCK" he hollered out and shot me a glare "Sorry" I mumbled as I began to place gauze on his wound "After Ghost was shot I heard more shots fired and then heard heard Keem come in hollering for Kari he answered with a I'm straight so we kept shooting I was hit in the shoulder but we eventually killed everybody in there and when I walked over to where Ghost was walking to I saw that he was dead and Kari was no where to be found we searched the whole house Keem told me to come back to you and that they would handle the rest" I sighed as I finished taping his shoulder.
"You should be fine make sure you change your bandage at least three times a day until you wound scabs over he nodded as I moved from in front of him to wash my hands he got up from the toilet "Where did you learn that" I looked at him through the mirror "When I was 14 my dads guard Wayne came in the house with a gun shot wound in the same spot just a different arm my dad wasn't home but I heard Wayne grunts so I went to see what was wrong and when I saw him bleeding I asked if he was ok and if I should call for help he told me no but told me I could help him and he guided me on how to a wound stop the bleeding and bandage it up" he nodded about to pick up his shirt but I stopped him "Don't worry about that I get rid of it you should probably go home and relax" he smiled thanking me k waved him off picked up his shirt before putting it in a plastic bag I would find somewhere to burn it later only because I didn't know who's blood was on it.
When I came out the bathroom Micah was gone and it was almost time for me to go pick up Kiah. I grabbed the car keys and made my way outside "Where you going" I looked in his direction he had on a clean shirt and some jeans "To pick up Kiah" he nodded walking my way "Cool I'm coming with you" I began to protest "Nooo um um I'm good you need rest" he waved me off "Im good besides not only is it to dangerous got you to be on that side of town alone boss man made me promise to protect y'all so let me do my job" I just nodded and got in the driver side as he sat in the passenger side after he was in good enough I pulled off. "So I was thinking since the move and so you wouldn't have to drive over here for anything that you should change Kiah school" I glanced at Cease "Maybe but she's made friends here and I don't want to just take that from her" he nodded "I understand that but it's not safe" I nodded "Yea I know" I sighed "I wish Kari was here so I could ask him what he thinks".
Pulling up to Kiah school I parked and frowned when I saw a woman with Kiah her back was to me so I couldn't see her face but when stood up and tried to walk off with Kiah I remembered her face and jumped out the car fast. "Hey chick let my child go" she looked up at me and so did Kiah she let her mother hand go and ran to me "Mommy" I smiled bending down to scoop her up Candice came walking towards me with s mug "Look she belongs to me not you she's my daughter I pushed her out now give her here" I smiled and sat Kiah down "Go to Ceaser sweetie" she ran towards Cease and I watched as he opened the door and let her in turning back to Candice.
