Dear Mere

chapter 2

hey guys, so about the last chapter there might have been a bunch of mistakes that you may or may not have understood , well sorry about that it was really confusing so i'm hoping this new chapter wont have as much mistakes as the first.Okay this is Ryans photo above or to the side.

As soon as we reached the school we all paid the fee and left.

"Thanks guys for the ride and it was great seeing you again Meredith,see you at practice Ryan" As soon as he said that I started feeling very bad because he was right we haven't hung out with him since our moms death.Well technically I haven't seen seen Jesse for a while even though I was a cheerleader and he and my brother were star football players as first receiver and my brother as quarterback, it seemed that only my brother saw him.

"Mere, stop starring at him" Without noticing I had been staring at Jesse while he was talking.As soon as Ryan said that I quickly blushed.

"Well see you guys later, later Mere!" he smiled at me.After waving bye we went to class as soon as we heard the bell.

"You're such an airhead at times,you know that right?"

"SHUT UP!" As soon as he said that I quickly raced to my locker,to see the one person that I wanted to actually wanted to talk to right now.

"Mere!"

"Dez!"

My best friend in the whole world that I grew up with greeted me with a big hug.

Carrying my Eng. textbook out my locker we walked down the hallway to class wich I was lucky enough to have most of my classes with her.

"So hey Mere, wanna come over to my house after school for studying,well after practice of course"I chuckled when she put studying in quotation marks.

"Sure how about I just stay the night" i wanted any excuse to be away from home right now.

"Course!" Dez was so jumpy she was perfect to be a cheerleader, me on the other hand I dont even remember how I even made it through tryouts.Just when we were about to reach the door to Mr.Eagles classroom I saw Jesse coming over and waving to me "hey Me.." just as I was about to wave back I was pushed over and was already falling.

"Ugh,move it loser"

As soon as I heard that voice I cringed back, hearing the voice of the person who I knew was practically born to torture me.I looked up at the face of Adelaide.

"Bitch move out of my way or swear I'm going to kick your ass if you don't"

I would have probably stayed there if Jesse hadn't came over and helped me up.

"thanks Jesse" I looked down as he smiled at me. Not only was I embarrassed but I was so ashamed to have him see that happen to me right there.

"Ughhhh" We heard a groan and saw Adelaide push past Dez into the classroom. I enjoyed the fact that I had gotten on her nerves because me and Dez knew she liked Jesse.As the halls started to clear up signaling we had 5 min left till the bell rang I was just about to go into the classroom when Jesse pulled me back by my arm. Dez saw this and smiled and walked off into the classroom.

"Hey can we talk?" Jesse said.

"Sure?" I said in more of a question than an answer"

"Try to just ignore her okay" He gently reached his hand up and patted my head like he always did in the past.At the gesture I blushed and looked away from him.Then he suddenly stopped . I looked up and saw that he was smiling, then I started smiling.

"So I was wondering" I looked up at him in question.

"Are you free tomorrow"? I was shocked at his words and looked up at him to find him looking down, even though i could have sworn I saw a tint of pink on his cheeks.

"Ugh yeah, why?"

"Well I was wondering if you wanted to watch a movie at my place, and just hangout and catch up, but just if you want to" he quickly said.

"umm,yeah sure" I answered very happily.

"good well see you at practice after school"

"alright" I heard myself say as he walked away to class" I dont know how long zi was standing there, it seemed like forever until Dez decided to come bring ne back to class.

"So what happened out there?"she asked as soon as she sat down.I told her everything , and by the time I was done she had a smile you would just want to smack of her face.

"Dont worry, we can pick out the outfits at my house tonight".I was so exited and bonus because usually at practice the football players and cheerleaders usually practice separately but today we were practicing together.Because I was so anxious the school day seemed to go by so slow but by the time we were done me and Dez raced to the girls locker room to change.We quickly got changed and took our pom pom's outside to start warming up and stretching.

"So what kind of movie should we watch today"?she asked when we were done stretching and were just waiting for cheer coach to arrive knowing we still had 20 min until she arrived.So in the mean time we decided to watch the football players practice.

"Um how about a comedy movie" I wasnt really paying attention to her, I found Jesse's number #10, Dez saw that I wasn't paying attention and followed my gaze to Jesse and soon started making that weird smile.But as soon as I looked back at Jesse during his break,he was looking at me he then waved at first I dint know who he was waving to but I caught on and waved back.

"Took you long enough but aww how sweet"

"Shut up....oh yeah I forgot I have to call my dad and make sure to say im staying at your house" Taking out out my phone I called my dad dreading that I remembered, I called and heard the ring until he answered," hello..Meredith what is it".

"um hi dad I was calling to tell you that I'm staying over at Dez's tonight".

"nope not tonight, when you get back home I have something to tell you and your brother."

"Oh,ok " I dropped off the phone.

"sorry Dez I cant today, my dad has something important to tell me and Ryan".

"awww, well its okay how about tomorrow?" she sounded disappointed.

"sorry, remember Im going to Jesse's house tomorrow", I said

"oh yeah well how about Wednesday"?she asked hopefully.

"Thats perfect come on lets start practice" this time I happily joined her.

hey guys tell me if i am using their names or abbreviations too much because i feel like i am using it too much. I really hoped i did better on this chapter.
