Chapter 5

"Mmm....."Waking up in the morning felt wonderful, I was so happy today I would catch up with Jesse, tomorrow I would be hanging out with Dez ,and my dad is going to be gone for 8 months.

"Mere!, breakfast is ready" Ryan yelled from the fourth floor instead of the first so we both wouldn't have to run downstairs and miss breakfast like we do every morning. I finally got up and walked to my bathroom to take a nice long shower.

When I came out of the bathroom I went to my closet and settled on a cozy big white sweater, a red skirt, and my short heel boots.Then took down the fishtail braid and put my black hair in a pony tail,after that i put on some pink blush and some lip gloss, then put on a little mascara to make my green eyes pop.

Walking down the stairs to the fifth floor ( movie/theatre room) to get some movies for tonight at Jesse's house.Then I went downstairs to find a plate of eggs bacon and pancakes.I dug in and found my brother in the kitchen with an apron on COOKING!

"Well well well look who's cooking!" My brother, the buff quarterback my older twin by two min,, WAS COOKING! With an apron on too.

"Be quite you never saw this, 15 min left till we leave.Taxi or car?"

Honestly I was shocked by his question we hadn't rode our car in a long time!

"Car please!" I happily devoured my meal and then I remembered I could just take my own car well I could ride it tomorrow.

"Um, hey Ryan I might not be home after school and practice today" I asked him nervously

"Hm?. Why not? He asked in question.

"Well I'll actually be going to Jesse's house, but we'll only be watching a movie I'll probably be back late but before curfew!" Ryan looked shocked at what I was telling him.

"............" he murmured something I couldn't hear.

"What was that?"

"Nothing, sit down I need to talk to you Meredith". He said my whole name so I knew what he was about to say was serious.

"Ok I need you to be home right on curfew okay that 11:00 sharp ok, and if anything happens you have my number ok" He sounded like mom and dad when I went out on my first date, making me laugh and sad at the same time. Damn , I Missed mom so much I almost started crying.I think Ryan noticed because he had stopped talking.

"look sorry for acting overprotective and reminding you of mom so much just in case anything happens ok" before I knew it he was already hugging me like a teddy bear.

"Come on lets get to school!" grabbing a piece of toast we both went to the garage, opening it Ryan took the keys to his own lamborghini, we went in and headed to school. Finally making it to class I found Dez talking with Jesse.

"good morning guys"

"Oh hey Mere" they both said.

"Well see you two later" Dez suddenly said and ran off to class leaving me and Jesse alone.

"So about tonight, what movie should we watch today aft-.." Before he could finish his sentence I was pushed over to the side and fell on my butt.when i looked up I saw the person who was responsible for pushing me over and saw Adelaide, Smirking down at me and Jesse looking shocked.

"Hey Jesse, I was wondering if you were available tonight,you know just in case you wanted to watch a movie at my house". she said while twisting her curly blonde hair and batting her blue eyes at him. ( wow she is so desperate ) I thought to myself.But I saw Jesse's face and he looked kind of irritated.

"Sorry Adelaide, I'm actually watching a movie with Meredith at my place" He said politely at her, ( wow, even when he's mad he still so polite ) As soon as he said that she looked over at me and looked so mad.

"You better watch yourself!" she murmured so only I could hear it then she walked away. After she walked away Jesse came over to help me up.

"You okay?" I nodded my head he bent down and gave me my books.

"So what kind of movie should we watch, I was thinking scary"

" yeah, that perfect" even thought I was easily scared.

"So I was wondering how about after school I just drive both us to my house"? That was perfect because even though we were neighbors we lived in mansions meaning it was about two miles away from the school.

" yeah that perfect thanks"

"okay see you after practice" He waved as he walked away.
