i sat in the back of the car waiting to leave, we've been here for 10 full minutes i wanted to ask why but seeing how he was behaving keeping my mouth shut is the best idea, he was typing away on his phone and luna was enjoying her teddy bear while sucking on her pacifier  i smiled at her while nervously picking at my nails; the front door then opened i looked up at the sound seeing a slim lady wearing knee high boots with a black skirt and crop top sitting down, i looked at him seeing a bright smile on his face she then hugged him before reaching for luna who practically jumped on her i stayed silent as lucas sent me a glare i  looked  down before putting on my headset listening to nothing i just wanted to look distracted i pulled out my phone texting away he started driving as they both talked and luna was playing with her hair it was then i realized she was blond and had bright green eyes and her skin was white she looked absolutely gorgeous the car then came to a stop in front of this big resort looking place everyone stepped out the car so i followed silently before she came up to me "hi im laura you must be his new assistant" "yea i am, im-- i already know who you are" she said cutting me off  "it was nice meeting you" she said walking off i took a deep shaky breath, this entire day was a rollercoaster and lucas treating me this way all of a sudden really made me feel like crying but like he said im a woman he shouldnt babysit me so let me  just do my job, the workers were bringing up our luggages and we walked in; we entered the elevator and my phone suddenly rang i quickly answered not paying attention to the name "hey babe whats up" "oh babe hi uhh im good what about you" i replied feeling eyes all over, i looked seeing his eyes looking straight at mine as if he was demanding something i didnt want to lose this job so i told him i was busy and id call back. the elevator opened and they left, i once again followed blindly "miss foster" i looked up to the sound of my last name this was the first time he called me this "y-yes mr james" he raised a brow at me before looking at laura he then led her to the room at the end of the hall telling her that this was her room for the stay she then went inside with luna "as for you this is your room" he pointed to the door on the left "and this is mine" he said pointing to the door directly in front of mine, i nodded "thank you  mr james" once again he raised his brow i ignored him walking into my room i checked the time it was 11 P.M. i unpacked since there was nothing to do i then went to sleep.

i stood in the hallway as sienna walked in her room i dont like hearing her calling me by  my last name, as much as how delicate as it sounds rolling off her tongue my 'fiance' was here no its not real its a publicity stunt and she's helping me to uphold my image while being here its to prevent what happened with ashley, laura is an actor as well as my model also my ex girlfriend from college but we are on good terms now at least ..i didn't mean to act mean it's  just i have to push her away before i get too attached plus she has a boyfriend and im no homewrecker and her flirting with mikey pissed me off because of how comfortable she was with him i ran my hands through  my hair  before collecting lunato bring her to our own room  but i didnt i stayed over her room as we chat  and drank before falling asleep.

i woke up extremely early it wasnt a choice though i kept having nightmares i even cried, i felt hurt we didnt know each other well but he was much kinder to me before she came along, i did my skincare routine before straightening my hair then hoping in the shower i came out looking fresh i sat on my bed in a bathrobe  picking up my bible to read i read for an hour before praying then picking out my outfit of the day,since we were in miami i wore a short pink skirt and a pink jacket over a white blouse with a white long socks reaching up my thighs with some chains on the skirt while  wearing some white pumps, i looked in the mirror putting on a soft makeup look to go with the outfit, putting a white bow in my hair i smiled im ready to face the day i walked out in the hall to knock on lucas's door to give him his schedule only to see him coming out of laura's room "o-oh morning si- miss foster why are you up so early" "i always wake up early" i said not looking in his face i felt his eyes all over me and to say i hated it would be a lie i shaked off the feeling before continuing "so mr james-" before finishing i was pushed on his door gently as he looked in my eyes "you look gorgeous today" my face probably looked like my outfit right now soon he backed up and straighten his posture before going all serious why does he do this i looked on the ground once again trying to cool down my face i looked up at him and he seem to be in pain as he leaned on the wall "h-hey are you okay" i asked getting close to him it was pretty early actually it was just 6:17 A.M. i pulled him in my room examining his face i leaned close smelling alcohol on his breath "did you drink thats bad for your health you know lie down i'll be right back" i then turn to leave to make some tea after a while i arrived giving him some mint tea to drink, he sat up drinking as i sat in the other couch reading my bible "are you religious or something?" i heard him ask i looked up "yes i am" "what religion? " i lift the bible before saying "i'd like to say christianity but i like to go by a woman of God" "why do you believe in him?" i was shocked at the question "well hes someone that has always been there for me.. a shoulder i could cry on a friend i could talk to anytime of the day a friend a best friend my father my lover- im sorry for rambling" "no it's cute i can see that you love him the way your eyes lit up just talking about him"  i smiled before asking "d-do you want to read with me" i said looking into his eyes "sure why not i want to see the saviour who got my girl so interested and loved" "m-m-my girl" i said blushing hard "i-i mean since your my assistant y'know" i laughed seeing him get all flustered i then hand him an extra bible i carry around and we began reading for another hour explaining things he didnt get and just being in peace.
