"Monday morning rolls around and the weekends over folks. People start to get busy again, workaholics rushing to work, children walking to school. And just a good cup of coffee is all you need to start the day right in beautiful Musutafu, Japan. And now on todays news-"

I watch as my old hag throws the remote onto the couch after shutting the tv off. "Hey Katsuki, have you seen my...oh! Never mind, got it!" She says trailing off into the kitchen and returning with her missing pair of heels. I stand there impatiently glancing at the clock every minute or so.

"I told you I can walk to UA you hag." I muttered, she hops on one foot while putting the other heel on all while grabbing the keys out of her purse. An impressive multitasker. She looks at me out of breath.

"I'm done, cmon hop in the car kid." She tosses me they keys as she reaches for her paperwork. I roll my eyes and open the trunk for her before getting in the passenger seat. After a few bangs to the trunk and a good slam she buckles in, tossing her purse in the back. She grips the wheel catching her breath. "Okay!"
~

"See ya." I say as I walk away towards the front gates of UA. But not before she interrupts with loud honking. I slowly turn around. "What are you doing!-" I mouth to her. She smiles, "thanks for spending the weekend with us! Oh and call me sometime, I'm your mother you know!-" I whip around and start to speed walk away as other students stare at the old hag and me. Jesus fucking Christ.

"NO!" I spring awake sweating and trembling from bed

"NO!" I spring awake sweating and trembling from bed. Panicked I look around and realize I'm in my room again. I begin to slow down my breathing as I drag my hands over my face. Another stupid nightmare, the third time I've woken up like this. And it's the same stupid nightmare too. Rooftop, splat! Except that mystery villain guy keeps showing up. The one with that miracle quirk.

I jerk, remembering it's a Monday. I reach for my phone on the nightstand, the time reading 9:40 am. "Shit! Shit! Shit!" I whisper to myself as I stumble to my dresser for my school uniform. I snatch them along with my socks and run for the bathroom. I burst in and try to look as decent as I can in five minutes.

I look like a maniac trying to jump into these khakis while trying to put toothpaste on my toothbrush. I just decide to ditch dental hygiene and rush for my backpack. I hit the front door before stopping and checking on my mom. I swing the door open but the rooms empty, she must've gone to work early. I rush out the door and pick up a pace eventually jogging down the street to school.

I'm hunched over my desk in the teachers lounge surrounded in stacks of paperwork

I'm hunched over my desk in the teachers lounge surrounded in stacks of paperwork. It's been a couple of months since the USJ incident and I recently got back to work, still bandaged and somewhat bruised. My right eye is completely fucked, hindering my ability to use my quirk at its full potential. My coworkers encouraged me to retire but I insisted on teaching. Fuck! If I was just a bit faster or.....

I look over the words carefully on the stack of papers that I hold onto. Old documents, new ones, crimes that the LOV has committed as a group. Some even dating to the early days of Toshinori's debut, when I was still applying for a heroes license. I separate a certain newspaper shoving it into another folder for later reference. I go to set the folder down when it slips out my hand letting the papers fly out in all directions before settling down around me on the floor beneath. I scoot back looking at the mess on the floor and I just hang my head back letting out a long sigh.

I stay like that for a couple of seconds when the door clicks open and I perk up to see who it is. Hizashi greets me with a nod carrying his bag and a couple boxes. He settled into his desk next to mine setting his stuff down before questioning the spilled paperwork. He grins, leaning on the desk. "At least its not coffee this time!" He chimes.

"Yea fuck you too Mic." I grumble back straightening up and bending forward to pick them up when Mic beats me to it snatching them quickly. He promptly skims through them before giving me a look of disappointment, I snatch them back. "Still obsessed over the LOV? You know, the police are doing their job, right?" He says scanning the rest of my desk. I stand up, this time setting down the papers carefully, "Yea? Well they aren't doing it fast enough Mic. It's been months and no arrests-" I start to get pissed when he cuts me off. "We're all just worried about you Aizawa-"

"Oh bullshit, Hizashi."

He breaks off eye contact and shifts his weight to the other foot, "I'm worried, you don't have to distance yourself, not again." The room falls silent after that statement. I let out a sigh and turn around to organize the mess on my desk when I mumble something under my breath, "were not dating anymore Mic." He catches this and out of my peripheral I see him jerk his head to the side.

"Then let me express my concern as a friend god dammit." He takes his satchel and storms out slamming the door, leaving me in complete silence. I slam my hands down, creating even more of a mess. A folder falls from a nearby stack, I pick it up, It reads Tsukauchi's name on it. I stare at it before remembering a week ago he gave me this in urgency.... "Just take a look at it, I need your opinion on this." I recall him saying, I wince as I open it up. I've been completely out of it the past few weeks I totally forgot that he even gave me this.

I don't know what to expect when I start to read the first sentence. I look at a profile of a young kid, around the age of my students, green hair, freckles. It seems almost ordinary and boring until I get to second picture, bloody and terrified in a middle school uniform after being brought into custody after the USJ incident. Certainly not one of my students and I almost start to suspect he fell into an unfortunate path of crime, he's too young to be a villain, sad. Not until I read his witness statement, all confirmed by Tsukauchi himself.

"What the fuck?" I whisper to myself. I have no reason to doubt Tsukauchi and his convenient quirk, I sit back down scooting back into my cave of paperwork and continue reading. I fumble the words in my brain when a familiar name catches my eye.

Katsuki Bakugou and Eijiro Kirishima.

I was about to dive in further until the bell rang, I had lost track of time. I stood up abruptly swiftly reaching for my teaching material and that folder. I'd have to do this another time.
