Izuku pov:
It's safe to say that whatever information I tried to retain from class is gone, blank, nada. Because now i'm quick in my pace, weaving people as I go through the hall. My eyes darting through crowds of people trying to find this blond, why is he a hard person to locate dammit.
I eventually reach the end of the hall and pass these double doors, the warm air of food whooshes past me. My gaze lingering over rows and rows of tables, students sat with their trays and their friends. My step falters as I move aside to avoid the rushing flow of students walking in their paths. I back up into a small section and keep looking around like an idiot, confused, lost, and alone.
"Lost?" A voice leaned in directly to my ear, their voice confident and startling. I cant help the fact that I flinched and I turn my head towards the person. He wears a small smirk as he eyes me, his gaze lowered due to our height difference.
"No..." I replied, sheepishly, I studied his appearance. Black hair that sat straight down, short, and sort of zig zag ends. He clung his hand on one of his backpack straps and thats when I noticed his elbows, it must be because of his quirk.
"You look new though." Another voice spoke up next to him, a dude about the same height as me. He had yellow hair and if I leaned my head a bit I could see a black streak making his hair... unique? I looked up at him nodding, "Yeah, I am." I said, looking at both of them. I recognize their faces obviously, they're in the same class as Katsuki.
The yellow haired guys face lit up and smiled, "Oh word?" He said and extended his hand towards me I looked at him before extending my own. Our hands joined to make a handshake followed by a fistbump. "Denki..." He said and then lightly punched the other guys shoulder, "Hanta."
I nodded towards the two and smiled a bit, "Midoriya." I said. Hanta nodded towards the lunch line that was slowly getting longer and longer. "You wanna join us?" He offered, I gazed at the line before smiling slightly. "Ah i'd like to, but i'm looking for someone." I said a bit ashamed to deny their kindness.
Denki patted my shoulder, "Thats cool man." He said and the turned to head for the line before Hanta stopped, "Who you looking for Midoriya? I might be able to help." He said, Denki also stopped and turned slightly.
"Katsuki." I said letting out a polite smile. Denki turned around fully and they both faced me, the two exchanged glances. Something about their faces made me realize that what I had said had silently peaked their interests. Denki gave me a subtle look or surprise, "Like Katsuki? Katsuki Bakugou?" He asked.
I nodded a bit hesitantly, "... yeah." I said. Denki stood there still with that subtle look of surprise before turning his head. He scanned the cafeteria throughly before turning back to me. Hanta scratched his chin before his eyes lit up, "Y'know what, he might be in our dorms." He said talking mostly to Denki as he faced him instead of me. Denki looked at him, "Yeah he hardly comes to the cafeteria anymore." He said before turning towards me. "Dorms." Denki said, Hanta joined in nodding, "Yep... thats where you'll find him." He said, Hanta turned his head to look at the lunch line. It was longer than before, Denki frowned a bit at the sight.
"Thanks!" I said, Denki nodded, "Sure man." He said and they waved their goodbyes and walked away.
Okay... dorms is where i'm headed then. I took one last look over at the cafeteria before turning my heel and going back where I came from.
