Rebekah
Getting home was a blessing. I had enough of running into some random girl who kissed my girlfriend. By the time we arrived at home, I was weeks away from my parents. My dad tried to call me almost every day, send me a dozen messages. Nothing came from my mother though. So when I ran down the stairs with Dani hot in my heels to find her mother and my dad in the door I wasn't completely surprised.
"Rebekah, hi." His voice was soft, gentle, like he was trying to find out if I would let him say what he wanted to or not.
"Hi." I felt Dani's hands on my waist, caressing my back.
"You didn't return any of my calls."
"In my defense, mom said that I cut myself out of the family with this choice." Dani didn't move from my side and her mom stayed next to me too.
"You know that she is a bit... impulsive." His eyes landed on the woman next to me. "Can I come in?"
She looked at me, waiting for my approval. I nodded, stepping aside, when she opened the door more.
"We will be in the kitchen." Dani got pulled away by her mother. I heard her murmur something but it wasn't loud enough for me to catch on it.
"Can we talk? Like adults." I sat down onto the couch, watching as he tried to find out what to do.
"Yes." My palm started to sweat.
"Your mother is... She is very conservative." I scoffed and he gave me a hard stare. "You're my daughter and I love you. No matter what. And if you are happy, I'm happy."
"I'm happy." I assured him.
"I want you to come home."
"Mom doesn't want me to go home." I glanced behind me, looking at Daniella over my shoulder. She was standing on the other side of the house, looking at me with a soft stare.
"But I do. I want you to come home."
"Dad, I love Dani. It won't change. Not if you send me to college to the other side of the ocean, not if you lock me in my room." I stood up, seeing Dani move from the corner of my eye. I saw her mother pulling her back.
"Just come home. Please. You can bring Dani too." I raised my brows, with a knowing smile. "When your mother isn't home first." He finished. "I love you, Rebekah. No matter what.."
I considered everything that ran through my head. I loved my parents. But every child loves their parents. In one way at least. My mother literally sent me away, when she found out I was gay. My mother tried to make my girlfriend's life worse just because she likes women. How can you not like women? They are so damn beautiful.
My mind stepped down from the trial it was walking on and I looked over at Dani. She was standing on the same spot. Seriously, she was so gorgeous. Her face, her eyes, her lips, her body. God, her body!
A smirk appeared on her face, her eyebrows frowned as she looked at me confused. I shook my head, turning my attention back to my father.
"Alright, I'm going home."

This was a big mistake. I should not have left that house. And Dani's reaction didn't help either. First, for some reason she thought she had the right to forbid me to go home. And then she got mad and didn't say a word to me. And she only talked to my dad, telling him how bad of an idea it was letting me go back to my mother. That she was cruel and she didn't deserve me. It was sweet and annoying.
