3 weeks have passed, and I am late. I'm beyond scared to take a test but at this point, I may not have a choice but to just make sure.

I called up Maria and asked if she could buy me a test and I knew she would do it for me of course so here I am, sitting at Rob's condo, praying that I test negative. "What the hell am I going to do if I test positive?"

"I can tell Antonio cares, Tally. He wouldn't leave you."

*** 10 minutes later: It is finally the moment of truth whether my life will completely change, or we will still have a normal life.

"Are you going to look at it or do I have to?"

"I can't do it, Maria."

"Tally, this is detrimental. You need to."

"Fine."

I went to the bathroom and grabbed the test off the sink, and I felt like my heart had just dropped to my feet. "Tally?"

I exited the bathroom and looked at Maria. "Are you?"

"Yeah."

"Oh my god."

"How am I going to tell Antonio?"

"He cares about you, it'll be okay."

Even with Maria trying to comfort me did nothing. I was pregnant with Antonio's child, and I had no choice but to tell him tonight.

I helped Irene make dinner before Antonio arrived home before work and the closer the time came, the more nervous I got. "Honey, it'll be okay. He loves you."

"Does he though?"

Irene smiled. "He has a glow on his face that I've really never seen before."

It was then in that moment when the front door opened, and Antonio entered the house. "Hi, baby."

"Hey."

"Is everything alright?"

"Not really."

"What happened? Did he hurt you?"

"No."

"Then what is it?"

"Antonio, I... God, I don't know how to say this. Our lives are about to change."

"Why is that?"

"Because I'm pregnant."

"You're what?"

"I tested today."

"Wow, okay."

"I don't expect you to stay, I can do it on my own."

Antonio raised his eyebrows and grabbed my hands. "I'm not going anywhere, love. Not anytime soon. Like I said, you are mine forever."

"You aren't leaving?"

"I would be crazy to leave you, Tally. This child is mine and I am devoted to helping you."

I liked hearing him say that, but I feared one thing: he would change his mind and leave me to raise our child alone.
