Tally

I couldn't believe it. Antonio got down on one knee and popped the question. "Will you marry me, Tally? Please?"

"Of course, I will."

"Thank god."

"How much did this cost?"

He smiled. "You're worth it."

"That didn't answer my question."

"You'll never know, Tally."

"How long were you planning this?"

"2 weeks."

"Wow."

"And now that you're pregnant with our child, it makes it even better."

"Can you please promise me one thing?"

"Anything."

"Don't leave me."

"I would never."

"Promise?"

"100%."

"I really hope not because I can't do this alone."

"I will be with you the whole entire time, love. I 110% promise."

I never thought I would get pregnant at 25, but I knew it was too late and I had to suck it up. It wasn't something I exactly wanted, and I know he definitely didn't, but we didn't have a choice.

*** 10 months later: I still couldn't believe it. Watching my husband bonding with Anthony was beyond amazing. I never thought I would get married, especially to him but here we are, several months later.

"You'll be a great father."

He smiled. "I'll try my best."

"You're doing great so far."

After he put Anthony to sleep, we laid in bed and watched a movie. "Just promise you'll never leave us."

Antonio smiled and kissed my forehead. "Never. I'm here to stay, love."

I couldn't be happier but there was one thing that still lingered in my head almost every single night: the fear of Ryder finding out about Antonio and I, and the possibility of him finding me.
