I was celebrating Tally's birthday with her although it was last month, but I had a huge surprise. "I didn't think you'd actually buy it, man. Are you sure you want this?"
"I am sure, Rob."
"How's she any different from Britney?"
"Tally is nothing like her. She's sweet, genuine and I know she cares sincerely."
"But you're seriously going to make this decision when you guys aren't even official?"
"Yes, I am."
"Good luck."
"It'll go well, I know it will."
"If you say so, man."
I knew this is what I wanted, I just feared she would reject me. It would completely ruin our night, but there was only one way for me to find out if she would say yes.
It was 8 when I called Tally to come home. I know I'm not a huge romantic, but I'd consider what I've done pretty romantic.
When she arrived home, I blindfolded her and took her to the bedroom. "Antonio, what's going on?"
"You'll see. Just hold on, baby. I got you."
"You know I hate surprises."
Once we got to the bedroom, I grabbed the small box off the nightstand and did what I never thought I would do. "You can take it off now."
