I heard a knock on my room and I opened the door.
"Let's talk"
Am I doomed?
"About what dad?" I opened the door widely so he could enter my room.
"Your mother and I didn't want you to work after you finished college, hindi ba business ang kinuha mo?"
"Yes, why?"
I remembered saying that after ko mag college magpapatayo nalang ako ng small cafe kase ayaw nilang mag trabaho ako.
Matagal ko nang pangarap ang magpatayo ng cafe kaya when I asked Dad if pwede ba, they told me ayaw nilang ma stress ako sa mga gastusin.
"We've decided to let you choose your path, hindi kana namin pipigilang mag trabaho at sa pagpapatayo ng sarili mong cafe, you have your bank account and I added some"
"Really Dad? Finally!
"I know anak, kaya if you need someone, I'm here for you okay?"
I smiled and hugged him. He's the best. Simula nung teenager pa ako, marami na akong alam about sa cafe, and it's always been my dream to have one of those.
The following days went well, I spent my days trying to plan my business and spend some time with my family. Meanwhile, Wena came and visit me para bumawi nung mga araw na hindi niya ako sinamahan. She also helped me by giving me ideas about the drinks I'm going to sell and about the location.
Until it was Sunday, it was time for church. There was this feeling na again na hindi ako mapakali, parang may hinahanap ako pero hindi ko alam kung alin, yung parang nagmamadali ka sa isang bagay na hindi mo naman alam kung bakit.
I wore a simple black dress and also black heels, nag make up narin ako and sprayed perfume on my neck. After that bumaba na ako at sumakay sa kotse nila Dad.
My eyes immediately searched for someone and it seems that they couldn't find the target. Mom told me to sit with them but I refused, umupo ako sa walang gaanong tao at nakinig nalang.
Zac.
Iba ang suot niyang perfume ngayon, it smells different from the last time we met.
Just like what he wore last Sunday, he was wearing a black long sleeve polo and black pants, his silver watch was shining and his hair was also fixed. He looked just fine.
