I knew there was something unique about him the moment we met. His endearing smile and inviting eyes weren't the only things that pulled me to him; his entire person exuded warmth and compassion. He was always there, like a constant beacon of light, ready to lead me through the storm whenever life got too much and my heart was weighed down with burdens.

He is a unique soul who listens without passing judgment and provides comfort by being present. He never cuts me off or ignores my feelings when I open myself to him. Instead, he envelops them, comforting and understanding them without saying a word.

His simple presence has allowed me to feel safe and at ease, allowing me to be truly vulnerable.

Along the erratic course of my life, I have fallen and tripped numerous times. But he has consistently been there for me, lending a hand when I was in need and pulling me out of the pit of despair.

His unfailing faith in my talents has pushed me onward, giving me a newfound sense of power and tenacity. It may have been as simple as a kind word or a well-timed pep talk.

The little, seemingly trivial things that happen when he is by my side also leave a lasting impression on my heart. I've learned from his continuous presence that love and support don't just come in the form of great gestures.

It can be found in the small,
unassuming things that he does to show me that I'm not alone on this trip we call life.

Since the day fate decided to bump me into you, I felt something I never thought I would feel. It was the feeling I'd been trying to find since I came into the world.

It was your actions. Or maybe because you're everywhere? Or maybe because you were always there to save me?

Or maybe because it's you.

We're now walking to nowhere, it was quiet and all I can hear was our footsteps. I didn't bother to check the time, because all I needed was him.

Bukas pa ito kaya pumasok kami sa loob, it was a small coffee shop and an old woman was sitting in front of the counter.

"Ganoon ba? Gusto niyo ba ng inumin? Makakain?"

I looked at Zac, he was looking at me as well.

"Let's get coffee? It's cold" I said.

"Coffee? In the middle of the night? No. It's not good for you"

I heard him sigh. Buti naman, suyuin moko.

After some minutes, he carried me like a kid. "Zac put me down!"

"Go on, no one can hear you anyway" Tumawa pa ito at lalo naman akong nainis.
