using it.

could you text him?

don't you go to his school?

you can just ask him there.

he'll avoid me.

avoid?

if i talk about maths, he'll
run away screaming "noooo."
and then his fangirls will
attempt to attack me to which
his twin will apologize for
the disgrace of a twin he has
been given and chase the
fangirls away.

miya is that popular??

keep in contact after this.

are.

i really feel like i'm texting
someone else.

lmao well my train is
here.

ok

oh! wait! a fact for you in case
you need it.

what?

c = square root of a-squared
+ b-squared

what is that for?

pythagoras theorem.

i don't need it.

maybe you will maybe you
won't. you're welcome btw.

"random girl started texting you thinking you were atsumu?" komori asks as the two made their way to class.

"what's the big deal?" sakusa responds blankly.

a pang of regret strikes him.

maybe he shouldn't have told his cousin about the mystery girl, he'd never let it go now.

"i don't know if it's just me, but atsumu's definitely trying to set you up with someone."

"it's just you." sakusa dismisses, shutting off komori before the two walk into class.

the teacher had announced a maths quiz to which the whole class groaned in annoyance.

"a quiz this early into the year?" komori asks.

sakusa ignored him as the test was being handed around. despite being in class 4, sakusa was there only by natural talent. he never did extra studying if he thought it wasn't necessary or was very interested in school work. and that made him barely average in class 4.

if he forgot a formula, he forgot and it wouldn't bother him a bit.

the test goes on for minutes that feel like hours and drags him into the mud through every question. there are moments of sudden memory revivals of formulas and he quickly notes them down before he forgets and with that, he gets through the vast ocean of class 4's maths quiz.

until he got to this one, question 24.

use pythagoras theorem to work out if these triangles are right-angled or not.

her words on the screen glossed over his mind for a second.

c = square root of a-squared + b-squared

with a smile, sakusa readily responded to the question.
