all that was in your head during another boring lecture was the fact that you didn't have good sleep last night. your head is laid on the desk, eyes closing and opening at least a million times as you try to stay awake. your comfortable bed pries every inch of space in your mind.
the boys in your apartment have no consideration for your sleep whatsoever and play video games during the night, deteriorating your sleep schedule. as a medical student, sleep was vital so you could study the next day. you weren't getting good sleep anyways as a medical student so this was just making it worse.
"stupid pieces of inconsiderate shit," you mumble to yourself, as shirabu turns to you. he's been observing the last couple of days.
"what happened?" he asks, making sure to tread carefully.
"are you asking about my personal life, shirabu? are you sick?" you return, raising your eyebrows.
shirabu gave even less considerate energy than the boys at your house so it astounds you that he would even ask you something like that.
"no, doctors are never sick," he replies.
"tch. who told you that?"
"the brown bear from inosuke—i mean, peppa pig."
you stared at him, totally weirded out. he was talking to you like you were a genuine friend. could you even consider it? you have no idea.
"sleep. i'll give you the notes later."
you rub your eyes, "blimey, i must be dreaming. my dear shirabu just said—"
"my offer goes down in three if you don't put your head on the desk."
you put your head on the desk to resolve it all.
