ˑ ˚ Chapter 3 - There You Are ˚ ˑ

SAKI POV

・・・・・・

I wander through the forest, passing trees and bushes.

I had stopped running ages ago since I got really tired, but I haven't been able to find Toya nor Tsukasa.

It's getting dark, I need to hurry..

"Tsukasa! Big brother!" I yelled at the top of my lungs to see if anything, anyone, moves. Nothing.

"Toya!?" I yell even louder, but then I hear rustling from behind me.

I spin around and I see Toya!

His fluffy, straight hair has gone kind of messy that you can't really see his face anymore.

"Oh, Toya!" I hugged him and he hugged me back.

"Saki.. you're okay! I was worried about you.." Toya breathed heavily and he looked around a bit before looking back at me.

"Where's your brother?"

Silence fell as we glared at each other. I looked down, "I-I don't know.."

I started wiping my tears away with my own hands, "I don't know.. I can't find him."

Toya's expression clearly wasn't happy, and he looked like he was on the verge of tears, a look I'd never think he'd make.

"How about we call out for him? I heard you calling out for your brother and me, so you can rest here to save your voice." Toya pointed towards a fallen down log, just laying on the ground.

I sat down on it and I continued wiping my tears away.

"Tsukasa!?" Toya called out, really loudly. We heard footsteps so we both spun around to where we heard the sound.

We saw a tall figure that just slightly bet Toya's height. The figure was holding Tsukasa on his back.

RUI POV

I continued walking through the forest, step by step.

I wasn't getting tired at all since Tsukasa was as light as a feather to me.

I found him outside of our den, leaning against the wall, asleep.. he must've fallen asleep just when he was about to go look for.. who was it? Toeya and Sake? I'm not sure..

I sighed as I continued walking through the forest. He lives in the Royal Kingdom, since he is the prince, so I just need to go there.

But, the walk there is really long and I'm already also getting sleepy.

Just as I feel myself drift off, I get startled awake by yelling.

"Tsukasa?!" I hear someone call out. I look around, now fully awake.

I see a boy with blue hair and a girl that looks exactly like Tsukasa. This must be Sakey and Tome, right?

They both turned around and they looked at me, the expressions on their faces were shocked.

"Tsukasa!" they both yelled as they ran towards me.

I stopped walking as they came to me, they started asking me questions like, "What happened?", "Did he faint?", "Is he dead?"  I sighed before answering, "he just fell asleep out my, uh, house."

I dropped Tsukasa down and Tsukasa woke up, with that Slake girl pulling him instantly into a hug.

"What was he doing at your house?" Toe looked over at me. Wait is his name Toe?  I froze in spot after thinking and I glared at the floor.

"Oh, uh.." I continued looking down, that Toe guy was really scary.

"Did he hurt you?!" my attention was drawn over to that Sako person. She seemed to be asking Tsukasa a bunch of questions.

Tsukasa looked at me and sighed, before looking back down at that girl.

"No, he didn't, Saki.." he said, taking her hands of his shoulders.

Oh, so that's her name! Saki! Wait, are they dating? I'm hoping they're siblings.. but, they might be dating.. hopefully not. I thought as I stood there, glaring at the two of them.

"Answer the question." I looked back at the Toe guy. He was still waiting for my answer, but Tsukasa then answered for him.

"I didn't exactly go into his house, Toya, I just rested outside of it." Tsukasa looked over at us, he was just straight up lying to him.

So, his name is Toya, not Toe.. aww, but Toe would've been a cool name to call him!  I smiled at my thoughts, but instantly dropped the smile so nobody would ask me about it.

"Okay, then.." Toya was still looking at me, almost like he was death staring me. It was really scary.

Toya crossed his arms and he looked down. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if this dude was planning his way to kill me..

"Well, purple guy, I'm Saki! Tsukasa's little sister! And you?" the girl turned to me and she stretched out her hand towards me. So they're siblings.. okay, good, that way, she can't take Tsukasa from me.

I took her hand and I shook it. "I'm Rui! Nice to meet you, Saki." she narrowed down her eyes, she seemed kind of worried about something.

"Rui? You have the same name as that one villain.." she pulled her hand away.

I was confused, because well, I am Rui, how did they not recognize that?

I looked down at my clothes and then I realized I'm wearing my normal teenagers clothes I use to blend it. I looked back up at her and I chuckled.

"I know! I have no idea what my parents were thinking when they named me."

Saki then stopped looking worried and she smiled right at me. "Hehe, parents sometimes name their children after the weirdest things!" we both giggled before Toya broke our laughter up.

"Okay, uh, anyways, Rui.. we should get going. Do you live in the Royal Kingdom?" Toya was still giving me a death glare as he asked that question.

I didn't really, I lived in a forest from the Royal Kingdom, but I just decided to lie about it. "Yes, yes, I do. We could all walk there together!"

Tsukasa looked at me, surprised. He knew I was lying about it, but he just didn't say a word and he smiled. "We should! It'd be great walking with you, Rui!" everybody else nodded and we all started walking through the forest.

I didn't know what I could tell them when we got there and they found out I don't have a house.. I'll have to ask to live with one of them.. 

Maybe Toya? I don't think he's apart of the Royal Department, so I could ask to live with him, but I think he might dislike me..
