RUI POV

・・・・・・

I noticed that Tsukasa had a sort of a sad expression on his face.

I was going to ask if he was alright, but then he spoke up. "Well then! Let's get going. No time to waste!"

I smiled at him and nodded, completely forgetting about what I was going to ask.

・・・・・・

We finally made it upstairs to his mother's room. Even the entrance itself was so grand-looking. It looked so valuable.

This bedroom probably had all the expensive things I came here to look for!

I needed to be alone, then steal everything there was to steal, then just give the watch back to Tsukasa. That way, he wouldn't feel so down about it.

I don't want him to be upset or sad about anything.

"Here it is, Rui!" Tsukasa paused for a second, before speaking again, "I never would've though I'd be sneaking into my own mother's room with a villain.. guess most things you dream about do come true."

I stopped for a second, what does he mean about 'most things you dream about do come true'? Was he hoping for this?

'Wait, what-?" "Here's my mother's safe. If I was her, I'd probably hide it in here. Agreed?"

Tsukasa turned around and looked at me. Him staring at me with his golden eyes made myself blush a bit, but I quickly turned away to hide it.

When I had looked back though, he looked upset a bit and that was when that question I was going to ask him popped back into my head.

He turned back around to the safe while sighing.

I walked towards him and I noticed him trying to unlock the safe by guessing random passcodes. I then tried to start a conversation with him.

"Oh, by the way, Tsukasa," Tsukasa hummed, signalling he was listening to me. "I was just wondering.. so, uh.. I noticed you were looking down before compared to earlier today. Why is that, may I ask?"

Tsukasa sighed again, louder this time, before turning back to me. "Oh, no, it was nothing. No need to panic."

"Are you sure? It doesn't seem like nothing."

Tsukasa narrowed his eyes down. I could then tell he was annoyed at me asking so many questions, but he answered me anyway.

"It's.. just.." I waited for him to continue speaking, "actually, I don't think I can tell you.."

He turned back around towards the safe and just stood there dumbfounded.

That was weird. I thought to myself before going to ask again, I needed to know.

"Kasa.. why not? Why can't you? Did I do something wrong?" I then saw him nodded his head while still not making eye contact with me.
