ˑ ˚ Chapter 4 - Stay With Me ˚ ˑ

TSUKASA POV

・・・・・・ 

I walked with Toya, Saki and Rui down a dirt path in a forest.

I still couldn't really grasp the fact that I was the only person here who knew we were walking with a villain, but I didn't say anything about it, I didn't want Rui to get into any trouble.

Toya and Saki were both talking to Rui, trying to get to know him better.

They had no clue who he was, so they were asking him questions.

I wasn't talking to anybody, I was just thinking about random things.

Our walk went in the order of Toya, Rui, Saki and then me.

I wasn't paying attention to anything, and I just focused on walking, until Saki's voice made me jolt up. "Tsukasa, how long have you known Rui for?" everybody else went silent and they all looked at me.

"Oh, uh, only for a little. I just met him an hour or two ago." I looked at the ground, I was too tired to make eye contact with anybody.

Saki nodded and she looked back over to Rui and Toya, and she just continued chatting with them.

Rui then suddenly stopped walking, and he stretched and yawned. "Oh, Rui, are you tired?" Saki, Toya and me also stopped walking and we all looked at Rui.

"If you're tired, we could find a place to rest." Toya suggested. "How are we meant to find a place to rest, Toya? We're in the middle of a forest.." Saki said, crossing her arms.

I looked ahead of us, we were still nowhere near Royal Kingdom. I could see some of the tall buildings from there, peaking over the trees, but that was only because they were super big.

Saki and Toya kept on rambling together about where we could stay.

I looked up at Rui and I saw he was looking right at me.

We stared at each other for a couple of seconds, until Rui looked away.

"Guys, we could just find a tree or something to sleep on. It's the best we could do at the moment." Toya and Saki stopped talking as Rui spoke. We all nodded and we turned off the dirt path and into the depths of the forest.

We found a little spot that had a couple of fallen down logs, so we just decided to rest on those.

"Ah, finally!" Saki said, dropping down onto the ground, going into a lazy-like sitting position.

Toya went over to her and he sat down right next to her.

I walked over to in front of one of the fallen logs, and I laid my back on it. Only shortly after, Rui came and he sat next to me, oddly close.

"I'm soo tired!" Saki yawned before she continued talking again, "I'm going to sleep." and with that, she laid down onto the ground and she shut her eyes.

"Me too, I'll be going to sleep." then Toya also laid down next to her, shutting his eyes as well.

I looked over at Rui and I noticed he was looking a me the whole time.

He looked away. "Sorry, Kasa." he looked at the ground before sighing. "I'm heading to sleep as well, good-"

RUI POV

"I'm heading to sleep as well, good-" he fell asleep.

On my shoulder.

I felt myself turn really red in the face as Tsukasa was just laying his head on my shoulder, sleeping.

Tsukasa looked so peaceful just laying his head there.

I whispered so nobody could hear my words, "good night."

I then also shut my eyes and I feel asleep on Tsukasa's head.

"You two, wake up." I slowly opened my eyes to see Toya kneeling down in front of me and Saki giggling next to him.

"Oh my gosh! You two are so cute!" Saki smiled brightly.

"Saki, calm down.." Toya was trying to make Saki less energetic and giggly.

I heard something mumble underneath me. "Rui.."

I lifted my head and then I remember Tsukasa was sleeping on my shoulder.

I felt myself turn really red.

Tsukasa was half-awake, looking at me. He still had his head on my shoulder.

He looked really sleepy, so I just said. "Go back to sleep, Kasa."

"Can I sleep on your chest?" Tsukasa asked, still looking at me.

I could still hear Saki giggling about us while Toya kept his straight, plain face still.

"Oh, uh, s-sure." I was a bit taken back from the request but I still allowed it.

Tsukasa moved his body in front of me and he laid his head into my chest, getting himself into a comfortable position.

I felt myself getting even more red in the face.

Saki just started squealing and fangirling. "This is too cute! Isn't it, Toya?" Saki looked over at Toya.

I swear I saw Toya smile.. 

"Yes, it is quite adorable." and that made Saki just start giggling again,

"He's sleeping!" I whispered loud enough for Toya and Saki to hear as I started slightly pushing them away.

"Well he shouldn't be, it's like what, 10:00am? We should've been moving hours ago!" Toya's calm look went away as he spoke and he looked annoyed at all of us.

Saki and I sighed and just nodded our heads, knowing we couldn't disagree.

"Fine, fine, whatever. Wake up your boyfriend, Rui." Saki smiled at me a bit before her and Toya stood up and packed their things to leave.

I rolled my eyes and then attempted to wake up Tsukasa. I didn't want to, but I had no choice. This TOE guy is so orderly.. how does Kasa deal with him?
