Fire, Ice, and Desire (Endeavor/Enji Todoroki)

Chapter 1: Introduction

In this version, Endeavor will have a small burn around his eye. It'll be explained later, think of a black eye, smaller than the scar he receives in his battle vs the high end Nomu, in episodes 87-88. That battle will still occur. Happy reading!

"Angel, are you almost ready?" My best friend's voice called from the other room. I straightened out my sweater, smoothing my curly blonde hair.

"Almost, just a second, Toshinori!" I replied, reaching for the contacts case on the bathroom counter. I popped the brown lenses in, covering my bright turquoise eyes. I wore color-correcting lenses while I wasn't working, it helped keep my private life to myself. I didn't want my friends to know me as Hydraulic, number 3 pro hero.

I stepped out of my room, grateful that Toshinori agreed to let me stay with him while I'm getting settled in. His new teaching gig took up a lot of time now that he couldn't hold his Hero form very long. I, however, took over most of the work at his agency. My oldest cousin, Stars and Stripes, worked alongside All Might as he spent time in the United States. She's still the Number 1 pro in America. Toshinori and I grew close while he stayed with the family.

I was grateful for the change in scenery after my parents died in a gruesome villain attack a few years ago. Afterwards, my cousin told me I needed to make some changes and recruited Toshinori to bring me to Japan.

"Are you ready to head out? I'm going straight to campus today, but there's a meeting on my calendar with you and Endeavor later this afternoon. Where are we meeting?" His weakened form made me sad. But he still smiled as if nothing was wrong, even though he was obviously in constant pain at home.

"I believe we're meeting at Endeavor's agency. Although, with me running your agency it would make more sense for us to meet there since we're both officially located there as Pros." I rolled my eyes, Endeavor had a huge ego to think his time was more precious than ours so he couldn't spend the time traveling.

"Thats fine, do you want to meet there or should I come get you?" His happy go lucky smile made me feel like it would be a good day, reminding me of how amazing he was.

"Either is fine, I can ride a cloud over, if you want to meet there?" I may not have a flying quirk, but much like All Might used various air pressure currents to propel himself, I manipulated water molecules in the air to form clouds that could carry me to my desired location. I could manipulate any available water molecules in any state and even produce water or ice if there wasn't any available. I drank a ton of water while working to be sure I always had some on hand.

Toshinori nodded, holding the door for me as we slid into our shoes and left. I drove today, dropping him at the campus before making my way to the agency. Before I got out of the car I slipped into the backseat, taking out my contacts and removing the outer layer of clothes that covered my Hero costume. I made my way inside, the secretary, Mei, smiled at me as I passed through.

"You have a visitor, Hydraulic. I had him wait in your office." Her chirpy morning voice was too much for my anxious mood. We hadn't located the League of Villains since they attacked the USJ.

"Thanks, Mei." I observed that her normally pink hair was rather blue today, so I noted to have lunch and something sweet brought to her today. Her hair changed based on her mood, but her other senses were heightened so she made for an exceptional judge of character.

I saw my office door ajar, a young man with contrasted white and red hair seated by the doorway. He looked incredibly familiar until it hit me, Endeavor's son? What is he doing here?

"Good morning, young man, what can I do for you?" I tried my best to sound perky, but I was admittedly looking forward to a little peace and quiet before my patrols. His father had quite the temper, hopefully Toshinori was right and the kid was better.
