"Stop pacing and tell me what you're thinking." Eraser's voice was on my last nerve. Every word out of his mouth angered me more.

"I can't stop pacing. If I stop pacing, the burning rage is going to have me burning a hole through you." The words were short and clipped. I couldn't stop hearing the words her sister said, Save your baby.

"I need you to tell me what was said exactly. It gives us the best chance at making progress." The fact that he was right and rational made me more upset. The anger burned through my veins like its own fire.

"She said they were mad about the baby. She told Angel to save herself and save the baby." I resumed the pacing, trying to contain myself.

"Eri, sweet girl, don't bother daddy right now." Angel's voice caught my attention, instantly dulling the flames. The door cracked and I heard tiny footsteps.

"Good daddy, are you okay?" Eri's voice held such concern, pulling me back to reality. I was so wrapped up in what could have happened that I had struggled to remember my responsibilities here.

"Princess, everything is great now that two of my favorite girls are here!" I let myself smile at her, holding out my arms. Her little shoulders dropped, the tension melting away as she leaped into my embrace. She snuggled her head in my shoulder, as she often did when she was getting tired.

"You're my favorite, too." She whispered in my ear, emotions weighing on my chest.

"I believe it's time for me to leave. If you need anything or think of anything else, I'm downstairs." Eraserhead nodded curtly before he hugged Angel and left. My eyes drifted to Angel's hands where they rested over the swell of her belly. She looked divine, yawning from playing with Eri and swimming in my shirt. The glow from pregnancy made her even more irresistible than normal.

"You look beautiful, my love." I closed the distance between us, placing a kiss on her head.

"I look huge." She groaned, pouting at me. "But, peach is using my bladder as a punching bag."

"She's going to be fierce, just like you." Her lips turned up at my words, her hands slowly rubbing circles over the bump. Her bright silver-blonde curls were loosely secured on top of her head, a few slipped out of the hair band to frame her face.

"Or like you, Number One." She winked, nudging me with her elbow.

"I don't know, beautiful, you may snag the spot tomorrow." The idea of arriving at the billboard announcements while we still didn't have any leads on the League made my blood boil.

She chuckled at my suggestion, "No, my love. I don't think I will. Everyone loves how fiercely you've defended me, defended us." Her blush lit up her beautiful face. The turquoise of her eyes glistened, tears welling in her eyes as she looked at the small girl in my arms.

"Good daddy, you are so cool!" Eri's small voice turned my attention to her, unable to control the smile that spread on my face. It was such a foreign feeling, being happy so often.

"You're the cool one, Eri. I just do my best to make you and your mom proud." I tossed her in the air, enjoying her giggle as I caught her again.

"Careful you two!" Angel scolded, "Enji, I don't know if I should go tomorrow." I watched her hand run over her face.

"We're going. This is for the public. Eri will stay with Aizawa and we can go. I know you want to be there for them. If we stay home, the League wins." I grumbled, unwilling to let her suffer and miss something she's been looking forward to because of them.
