'It had already started but we never realized'
It has been two years since Tin had been appointed the Vice President at his family's conglomerate. Immediately after graduating university, while others scrawl for any minor jobs they could get, Tin got the best of it.
It makes sense. Everything did. No surprise. After all he was born with it. A son born as the only heir slated to take over his father's company. He was meant to be great. Reach great heights. Destined for everything he had.
However something seemed to be never in his destiny. Something called love. At the age of twenty four he was what people would call someone with no experience. Not even a single relationship added to his name
Not that he cared
Tin was never a person who needed love. He never craved for it. He didn't feel the incredible desire of sucking up to the same person in a said relationship.
As a sexually capable man, whenever his desires fluctuated, he would have someone new to quench it here and there. No more no less.
However he was never satisfied. No woman could give him the pleasure he seeks. Thus no satisfaction. No infatuation. No commitments. The only commitment he had was with his work.
Tin sat on his work table that turned it's back to an outstanding view of the glorious city in it's height of the twenty fourth floor it was located in. His hands ran tirelessly across the keyboard of the laptop he was working on. His eyes fixated on it's marvelous screen.
However his point of focus was disrupted and he deviated his vision from the screen to the direction where he heard a knock the door opened with a click. His secretary, Gun quietly entered with a pile of documents folded nearly within his arms.
"These are the last documents you are to look through today sire. The ones requiring your signatures are placed on the left. Please sort them within an hour. You are to meet Lady Bell at seven" He handed him over the necessary information and politely bowed before heading out.
Tin simply watched his back leave and heard the door click as it shut. He eyed the pile of documents neatly sorted out in front of him. Hurriedly he started to work on it. Exactly how his secretary had devised him.
Nearly an hour in. The documents that needs hours to go through was skillfully sorted, reassuring accuracy in an attempt to meet the timeframe of his given schedule.Tin leaned his back on his chair as he gave his hands a momentary rest. He eyed the clock that moved in the span of seconds. Thirty seconds till an hour to pass. He closed his eyes and waited.
Click As he had expected. In outmost punctuality he heard a knock on his door and even before he could answer,it clicked open to a face he sees more than his own.
"Are you done Sir?" Gun asked approaching him with a coat neatly hanging on his folded arms. His eyes scanned the documents on the paper and determined the answer himself as he nodded
"Why ask if you were going to search for an answer yourself?" Tin let out a hoarse voice as he stood up to walk towards Gun. When he finally reached in front of him, he turned around to spread his arms and the coat that was then hanging on Gun's forearms slithered around his body.
Tugging himself in, he turned around to look at his secretary who had now prepared his answer. "I asked out of responsibility. It is after all my duty as your secretary to make sure you have no work delayed" he closed his eyes momentarily in form of assurance that he was speaking the truth
Tin simply huffed as he walked past him towards the door. "So many years but your smart mouth runs the same speed."Gun followed him out and hurriedly caught up to the pace of his boss. Ten minutes till seven. It takes two minutes down the elevator. Six minutes by car to the entrance of the location. Two minutes to the seat reserved for the date.
Gun had calculated it well.
