'Push and Pull but still fall back to each other's arms'Tin slowly crept inside the house that actually belonged to him like a thief so that the person who might be sleeping is not disturbed. In the dark, he found his way to his room where he stripped off all the clothes that smelled of the bar. A quick cold shower to cool his body down.
The bar was itself very dizzying today. Unlike how he always enjoyed partying there with Gun, he didn't enjoy it today. Come to think of it, it was the first time he went to the bar without Gun as his company. The experience left a bitter taste on his head. Never without him again He thought to himself as he rubbed himself dry.
With only a shorts clinging onto his waist, he roamed the house with a gloriously naked chest. Finally he came to make a stop on the room he decided to spend the night on. The room that was not his own but his best friend's.
Slowly like a robber, he creaked the door open and in the dimly lit room, he was greeted by a figure soundly asleep in bed. Immediately Tin's heart felt a familiar warmth, as if he wasn't somber just a moment ago. He neared the bed and sat on it's edge. On the bed sleeping with a peaceful face, Gun looked especially beautiful
How come you're more beautiful than any girl? Tin chuckled as he removed the streaks of hair hanging down the forehead. If Gun could hear his thoughts, Tin would be showered with slaps and smacks. "I'm not beautiful! the fuck! I'm handsome as hell!" He'd always cry out loud puffing out his glorious face. Makes him even more beautiful.
Turning off the dim lamp, Tin made himself comfortable in his friend's bed. His body slowly adjusted in the comfort of his friend's back as he held tightly onto him. Gun groaned as he felt an arm tugging onto him and even if in deep slumber, he knew what he needed to do. Gun turned his body and lifted his head a little while Tin's hands slithered down it, acting as his pillow. And now Tin completely engulfed him as he pressed Gun onto his chest.
He heaved deep breaths as he inhaled the scent of his best friend. Mild and fresh. It was his favorite smell. Not too strong but still present. Tin's clouded mind immediately cleaned and his heart was tranquil. It was a usual occurrence, having Gun in his arms while he felt his breath hitting his chest, he was like addicted. To an extent he doesn't remember when he last slept in his won room
"So the date didn't go well huh?" Was the first thing Gun muttered earlier morning when he found himself waking up in Tin's arms. Still half asleep, Tin simply groaned as a yes and tried to snuggle closer to Gun who seemed to be fleeing away, trying to find the lost warmth. It was a normal occurrence. Whenever Tin did well on a date, he'll find himself on a hotel bed and when he didn't he'll have Gun in his embrace
"Seriously stop using me as a substitute after your failed dates, just pick up a beautiful girl at the bar to wrap you arms on to!" Gun complained as he tried to push Tin away. However his strength could barely match him. He was struggling.
"Ugh! Who said I was using you as a substitute! You're my friend! Am I not allowed to hug you to sleep!" Tin sounded quite hurt by the accusation and Gun was about to sprinkle salt on it
"Well but I'm tired of cuddling with you every day. You make it hard for me to breathe! So hurry and find a lover so you can stop crawling up to my bed!" Gun pinched Tin's nose and pushed him away. Tin now was lying on the bed alone. His best friend rushed into the bathroom spitting fire at him.
Oh! So you want me to settle down so you can cuddle with someone else instead! Tin's eyes became fierce, this unsettling feeling again raging in his heart. He doesn't seem to be able to dissipate it. The only thing he can do is fill his mind with evil thoughts instead
Like every day, Gun folded the tie neatly onto Tin's neck and spread a hint of cologne into it. Today however, it was different. Tin raised his eyebrows to the unfamiliar smell. "A new scent?" He inquired to a completely proud Gun. "You like it? I heard it's especially popular among females these days. They go head over heels for men who smell like this"
Tin clicked his tongue. Lately he has noticed that Gun was extremely obsessed with the idea of hooking him up. Don't tell me he found it as an interesting hobby! Tin hoped that wasn't the case or dealing with a dedicated Gun will be especially tiring.
"Done!" Proudly, Gun took a few steps back as admiring Tin for being his perfect creation. It is not an exaggeration to say that many compliments to this young boss's looks comes partially thanks to his perfect grooming. "So handsome my lord!" Gun smiled wide and approached Tin to brush back some strands of the hair hanging unevenly in his head
Tin stood there like a mannequin, letting Gun groom him like anything he pleases. The color, the suit, the tie, the watch, the shoes. Everything had to be Gun's choice. Not like Tin protested. He wasn't a fashionista himself. He let Gun decide for him instead. Gun being a capable man never disappoints. Tin's heart swell when he's showered with compliments by his friend. And he deems it all worth it.
"I'll drive today." Tin said taking the car keys and heading out with Gun following behind. Usually whenever they go to work, it's Gun who drives. Whenever they go elsewhere, it's Tin who drives.
"No!" As expected Gun protested. Going to the work was the only time Gun was able to experience the luxury to drive. Other times, he'd always be escorted by his boss as if Tin was his personal chauffeur. If he lets Tin do it this time, he has a bad habit of wanting to do it every time. He can't risk his sole opportunity of using his driving license taken away just like that
He hurriedly snatched away the car keys from Tin's hand as he tried to come up with a rational "Think Tin! At the company, you're the boss and I'm the employee, if I you let me treat you casually like this, the others will start thinking they can as well! Your boss aura will be ruined!"
"What nonsense! What aura huh! They all know we're friends. It's only you who likes to put on a show!" Tin grumbled as he sat down on the back seat. The thing is, when Gun drives him to work, he wants to be as professional as possible so like a real boss, he's forced to sit behind alone without his friend's company. That is why Tin wants to insist on driving in stead. A professional Gun won't want to sit on the back seat like his boss and will join him at the passenger seat instead.
Gun paid no mind to whatever complaints Tin was filing on his way. His agenda was already completed and now he paid Tin no mind. Tin who was mercilessly ignored silenced after speaking to the air and looked out the window. It's impossible to hold a casual conversation when they're seated this way. Tin hates it. But Tin still wants to talk
"So what's on my schedule today?" Work is the best subject to talk to when Gun is in Work mode on. He had also realized they were not going to the direction of their office. Usually Tin never inquired his schedule until he reached to the office. However the sudden change of directions made him curious if something different was up
"Your work schedules don't start till one in the evening. You have only one meeting to attend today." Gun replied as he glanced at Tin through the rear view mirror. Tin has a bad feeling creeping up his chest. "So where are you taking me?" He didn't think Gun is up to any good judging by the way he's avoiding his eyes
"You have a lunch scheduled with your father at eleven." I knew it! Tin has been fooled yet again! This cunning best friend of his. He was flabbergasted! How can Gun betray him like this."It was the Vice Chairman's order. I couldn't protest" Gun added when he saw the look on Tin's face. It screamed You betrayed me!
"Why didn't you tell me!" Now Tin was upset. He sounded cross. However he was more upset because Gun had complied obediently to his father's orders while he was always being went against here and there.
"If I had told you, would you be here with me?" Gun had no change in tone. He sounded calm and composed even when his boss was clearly feeling betrayed. Tin silenced at the counter. He didn't fight back. Well Gun was saying the truth. If he knew he would've fled already. But now that he was here, he couldn't! could he?
