Lily's Journey

Lily was a little girl who grew up within her castle walls. She was afraid of the big wide world and always wanted to run away to live a normal life. She tried to run many times but was always caught. One night, she hung a rope from her window and tried to escape. But when she reached the ground, she was disheartened to see two major sentinels waiting for her. She was back from where she started. Then, on a night with a setting sun, she dodged the guards and ran into the woods. She was so afraid and all alone. Once she was deep in the woods, she was worried for her life. As she was walking, a wide and huge spider came in front of her face which scared her. She ran as fast as she could. Finally, she came to a huge tree and sat under it. She wanted to rest but at the same time, her visions wouldn't let her. She was regretting her decision and thinking how everyone warned her about the woods. They kept saying "Don't go there, there are creatures who are hiding in the dark." While she was pondering about enigmatic beings, something came creeping towards her. It was a shadow-like figure. It told her "Don't worry, just follow me everywhere I go, over the mountains or valley low, I'll give you everything you've been dreaming of, just let me in." Upon witnessing the anomalous shadow speak, Lily ran as fast as she could and eventually halted in front of a peculiar-looking abode. Out of terror, she entered the premises without glancing backwards. She tried to find her way in the darkness by tactility. Eventually, she encountered a staircase and ascended it. After a while, she reached the terrace and beheld the moon radiantly gleaming before her eyes. Out of nowhere, she perceived a voice emanating from behind her. As she pivoted towards the source of the sound, the same enigmatic shadow stood before her, radiating under the moon's light. She instinctively took a few steps backwards, but unbeknownst to her, she stumbled and plummeted from the terrace. As she fell, she glimpsed the shadow approaching her and soon thereafter, it clutched her tightly, causing her to lose consciousness. Upon awakening, she discovered herself in an environment where ice was ubiquitous. She comprehended that she was under hypnosis but was powerless to change her situation. Shortly thereafter, she observed the Shadow beside her, instructing her to walk on the ice. She complied, and soon the water gave way, causing her to plunge into the frigid water below. Submerging into the water brought her back to consciousness, and she endeavored to swim back to the surface. After a great struggle, she eventually emerged from the icy water gasping for air. When she was finally free from the icy water, she started sprinting as fast as she could while screaming "Is there someone out there?! Please help me come get me!" Behind her, she could hear the shadow say, "Follow everywhere I go, top over the mountains or valley low, give you everything you have been dreaming of, just let me in. Everything you want in gold, I will be the magic story you have been told, and you will be safe under my control. Just let me in." Then the shadow bounced towards her and took Lily, and they both teleported somewhere. After that case, no one ever heard from Lily. No one knew where she went.
