Severus POV
I was behind the doors of the balcony waiting when I heard the marching band and dancers singing.
I heard them outside of the palace, singing again but this time holding it out.
Then a man started shouting for me to come out telling me that there not going until I go, etc.
I didn't want to go but I was forced to.
Flashback
"You WILL be in this arranged marriage whether you like it or not understood?" Said my father, king Tobias Snape.
"B-but father, I don't love him, I may like men but I do not love him." I said trying to reason with him.
"Well this is what you get, you disgraced this royal family by liking men, so you will marry a man, but not the one of your choice." He said, glaring at me.
"Honey, I don't think this is necessary I-" said my mother, Queen Eileen Snape, before she was interrupted.
"SILENCE! I do not want to hear another word from you! Now Severus, you will marry that prince, understood?" My father looked at me.
"Yes father..."
End of flashback
I walked out of the door and in front of my throne.
I saw Prince Ali's acrobats attached as string bridge to where he was and the other end to the balcony.
The singing still going on.
Then he walked in front of me and put his hand in his pocket and took out a small black box, smirking evilly.
He kneeled in front of me looked up, his black hair in his face, slightly covering his red eyes, pale face moving as he opened the box to reveal a ring him saying,
"Will you marry me?"Ali said, knowing my answer cause of this arrangement that no one except my royal family and his royal family knew about.
I looked at my father and mother. My father gave me a cold glare glancing at the ring and then me, signaling me to say yes, my mother just looked sad.
I looked back at Ali and the ring and said,
"Yes..."
Tears spilled down my face, those tears weren't happy tears, they were sad tears, sad tears because I was forced into this relationship.
I am 17 years old and am going to my Hogwarts 7th year and after that I will get married.
One last school year until hell....hopefully something good will happen, especially since now I don't have Lily to help me.
And those marauders won't leave me alone, especially if they find out I'm royal and getting married.
But if they do find out...will they leave me alone cause I'm a royal or make fun of me about it?
