Out of binds and to the wedding

Severus's POV

Severus was crying in his room, thinking about how his affair with James ended up being James's death sentence.

Today was his wedding day.

He couldn't tell anyone what happened or else James would get a more torturous death, and he didn't want that, never.

Someone knocked on the door.

"Your majesty? It's time for you to start getting ready." Evelyn says slowly.

"Yes, come in." Said Sev, he wiped his tears away as Evelyn came in.

"Your majesty, are you alright?" Asked Evelyn, concern on her face.

"I'm alright Ev, I just am nervous about the wedding." Lied Severus, Evelyn didn't seem convinced but she didn't push the matter.

In her hands was a fancy box, the one where they put Severus's wedding dress. She carefully took it out and put it in the bed.

"Do you need help, with your wedding dress your Majesty?" Questioned Evelyn, looking around the room, seeing how there were no windows and questioning the multiple locks on the door that she encountered before she could go in.

"No thank you Ev." Replied Severus.

"Ah well I heard the room is soundproof so just in case you need anything I will be there in the room with you, and don't worry it's normal for us servants and tailors and people who come with something about clothes to help you change so I'm used to it, but for your comfort I will look away when your changing." Said Evelyn, and followed Severus to the changing room.

As they both entered it, Evelyn closed the door and turned to Severus.

"Now, tell me what happened or is happening." Said Evelyn. Looking Severus straight in the eye. Severus hesitated.

"I-It's James, you see my marriage with Ali is arranged, so I don't truly love him, I love James. I had a secret affair. But Ali found out and imprisoned James in the dungeon below the castle and will kill him at the end of the wedding ceremony. And he threatened to give James a more painful death if I told anyone. Oh please don't tell him Ev, Please!" Severus said sorrowfully. Evelyn looked shocked for a moment then started comforting him whole helping him with his wedding attire.

"Don't worry it'll all be fine" Evelyn nodded, Severus just took it as words of comfort.

James's POV

James had  been stuck here in a cell with his  hands and feet shackled to the wall.

'I know I'm gonna die soon, probably after the wedding, well so be it. As long as it means Sev is safe.' He thought.

He was about to take a long emo sigh when he heard it, footsteps.

'Oh no, this is really the end? I love you Severus.' He thought before he saw who it was

It was Max.

"Max?" James said, so confused? Was he also the executor?

"Shush, I'm helping you." He whispered, James was confused, but he atleast understood Max was in his side.

Max pulled out two keys one unlocked his hands and the other his feet.

He first unlocked James's feet then his hands.

"Thank you, but why are you doing this?" Asked James.

"Because Evelyn told me about that Severus told her about your guy's situation." Max said, "and I love Evelyn so if she wants me to do something I will do it."

Max handed James 2 cloths, a dry and wet one.

"Use this to clean your face, wouldn't want the Prince to see you like this." Max said, pointing at the spots of dirt on James's face.

"Thanks." James said as he quickly cleaned his face.

As James turned to leave,

"Oh and here, for Severus." Max said and he tossed a breath mint and James caught it in his mouth.

James smiled.

"Thanks man. Now off to the wedding I go!" James said as he turned and started sprinting, and as James got to the dungeon door he saw all the guards beaten up unconscious on the floor. And there was the key on the floor in front of him.

'Thanks Max' James thought as he picked up the key.

James sprinted down to the hall,

Out of binds and to the wedding

He thought
