Some things become so large that you don't realize them until you are in that moment. They become larger than life itself.
That were the feelings, Mairaaj Malik was developing for Dilainoor. The feeling so big-so overwelming that he felt like it was devovouring his very being, yet he felt like Noor could not feel them.

The certain tug they had for each other, was he imagining it all by himself.
Mairaaj had spent the past two hours hopelessly pondering over this.

"Sir." someone called but Mairaaj was still out of it.

"Sir!" Mairaaj's eyes darted towards the unwanted distraction.

"Should I set the date for the opening with Mr Shabaan." asked Ali, his PA.

"Go ahead. " he said as he got back to typing on laptop

"Mr Rizwaan, your wife is out of danger now. Ap un se mil sakte hn." Noor let the patient's guardian know as she removed the surgical mask.

"Thank you doctor. You're a god send. May Allah fulfil all your wishes." the man said.

It got Noor to thinking. What were her wishes. Did she even have things like those.

That day when her shift ended, she descended the stairs to leave the hospital, a rather familiar car awaited at the door.

A man dressed in a black tailored suit and shiny polished shoes stood leaning against the car, his attention on the watch on his wrist.

"Mairaaj? what are you doing here?" she asked and he suddenly straightened up.

"Ohh. I was in the area, I thought I 'll pick you up."

"But meri gaari?" she asked.

"The driver can bring it. Lets go." he said suddenly and got into the car.
Noor blinked her eyes at his awkwardness. She slowly got herself into the car.

"So...... kesa rha tumhara din?" Mairaaj asked suddenly. Noor looked at him with questioning eyes.

"Did you do drugs?" she asked suddenly.

Mairaj halted the car as soon as the words left her mouth,"What!?" he asked , his eyes almost falling out.

"No! God Damn, I dont do drugs."

"Cool. Then....... why are you acting so.....not hostile."she asked eyeing him suspiciously.

Mairaaj chuckled, " I think the word you were looking for is friendly."

Noor laughed as well.

"Sure sure. Whatever you say."

"Acha listen, meri ik nai building ki opening hai, you have to come." Mairaaj said.

"acha? kab?"

"Tomorrow, evening."

"But meri to shift hai, kal night shift."
Noor said.

Mairaaj looked at her and smiled,"Good thing you're close to the owner of the hospital, then."

Noor stiffled a laugh," Is someone flexing rightnow that they own a hospital."

"Hosptal(s) Ya Amar. I own hospitals."

"You're so full of shit." she laughed as she too knew that Maliks owned only one hospital, Malik Health care Hospital and University.

When Mairaaj remained quietly smiling, Noor went "Seriously?"

"You'll know tomorrow." Noor raised her eyebrows at his comment.
