"Tumhe kia hua hai, aesa mun to tum kisi ka katal karte vaqt hi banate ho." Maahit, Mairaaj's best friend said sitting opposite to him in his office.

"Kuch aesa hi soch rha hun." he replied, his attention towards one person, Dilainoor.

" Nobody has ever talked to me like that." Mairaaj muttered.

" Kiun bhai kia hua. Naam btao mujhe. Uss khan ke killing machine ke baare me to nhe pareshaan?" Maahit asked.

" Kon killing machine?"

" Vohi... vo Reaper jis ne pichle teen maheeno se poore mafia me udham machai hui hai."

A sarcastic chuckle escaped Mairaaj's throat,"vo bakri ka baccha?"

"Bakri ka bacha? bhool gye ho uss ne tumhare marina dock ke saath kia kiya. Hamare kitne aadmi zakhmi hue."

"Its only a matter of time, Maahit. Once I find him, I'll break his neck with my bare hands." Mairaaj replied.

"How was the surgery, Dr Sahiba?"Alia asked cheerfully.

" Achi thi, " Noor replied as she sipped on her black coffee, her mind playing the events of the past hour.

Just an  hour ago, when she had stepped back into her cabin after her surgery, a note awaited her.

Trying not to seem suspicious in the CCTV camera, she picked up a nearby file and placed the piece of paper within it.

As she slowly read the words, the revelation dawned on her.

Khan ka aadmi mere office me aya tha.

The note told her to meet at the ususal  location.

Now, here Noor was sitting drinking coffee, her eyes fixed on the clock.

The moment it struck 5, Noor picked up her coat and walked out the hospital.

She drove all the way to the rundown old library, she always went to.
The man had not seem to have come yet, so she sat down, a book in her hand.

Suddenly, Shafi, Moeen's right hand man walked inside.

"Khan ke baaqi aadmi mar gye hn kia?" she asked without looking at the man.
Her eyes fixed on the book, her hands scanning through different pages.

"Ik nya mission hai."Shafi said, the middle aged man's face devoid of any emotion.

"Jaanti hun. Aage boliye."

" Ye rhi file. Iss ko marna hai." the man pulled out a file.

Taking the file, she said, " Malik ke dada ki consultation mein kr rhi hun, yaqeen se ye koi concidence to hai nhe."

"Miss Noor, ap jaanti hn ke ap ki bachpan se training kiun ki gye hai." Shafi replied, still not looking at her.

Noor laughed," Malik khandan ke khilaaf sab se bara hathiyaar. Haan Haan janti hun. Yehi keh kr to mujhe insaan je haiwaan bna dia."

Taking the file, she walked out of the library.

At home when she skimmed through the file

Name: Kaasim Ali
Occupation: Minister of Finance

What is life? Something Dilainoor wondered quite often. Everything you fight for. Righteous or wrong, does it matter.

She walked out of the bathroom, dressed in a bathrobe. She pushed the curtains to her room only to reveal a bright moonlight from the 6th story of her apartment complex.
The grim of the night against the bright moonlight, she couldn't help but stare at the crescent moon.
How delicately it was shaped.
It reminded her of someone, her mother.
