By the look of it, it was a bathroom, but Noor didn't care about it-more like did not have the mental capacity to realize it was a bathroom.
Both her hands clutched her head as sharp pain emanated from her head, blurry memories playing in her head.
"Dil bhago aur murh kr peeche na dekhna." The same words her mother had told her a bazzilion times.

She fell down on her knees as the pain turned into a hyperventilation episode.
The hysteria in her head was out of control. Rightnow, she felt like not blood but just pain flowed through her nerves. She broke down, breaking her tough girl barrier. She desperately hoped she would just find out who killed her mother, the root, the reason of her pain and misery.

With great difficulty, she helped herself up and opened the faucet at the sink.
With trembling hands, she splattered some of it on her face, even the coolness of water hit her face harshly but it helped her partially overcome the breakdown she was facing.
The uninvited tears stained her cheeks.
"Mama." She cried in desperation. " Help me, please. Mujhe bacha len. Mujhe dar lag rha hai."

She walked out of the bathroom, her own legs giving out. She stumbled her way as she reached what appeared to an unmentored backgate. She took of her heels, throwing them god knows where. She stumbled out and away from the hospital, somewhere on the grim road. The night was chilly and her feet was tearing with every single step on graveled floor, she put.
The pain in her feet numbed the pain in her head.

Noor's nightmares had become much worse. So much so that just with the mere three letters, she wanted to throw herself off the bridge, she was walking across.

It must been atleast half an hour since Mairaaj stood morbidly where Noor left him. He had grown impatient because this was the opening of his hospital and somehow the main guests had disappeared. He called his secretary,
"Ali, check where Noor is, right now. " the fury in his words visible. Ali, scared at his boss's tone, scambled with a team of other guards and looked for Noor in every corner of the building. After checking into the CCTV camera, Ali realized, Noor walked out the backgate without any shoes, her steps wobbly.
He went to Mairaaj and told him that Noor had already left the venue through the backgate. All fury had let loose. Mairaaj was furious at the humiliation, he will have to face if he walks in alone. Ali said," Sir, she was seen walking barefoot."

The words were quite shocking to Mairaaj. He too left the venue through the backdoor, where his guard waited with the car.

"Out." he barked at the guard on the driver's seat. The grown man quickly got off the car and Mairaaj drove away furiously.
After he reached the Malik Mansion, he hoped to see Noor standing there, laughing at him and telling him she humiliated him on purpose. Even if that would anger him and cause him pain at the same time, he hoped to see her there, not missing, walking somewhere in the bleak and wicked alleys of Lahore, barefoot. But all in vain, not a single servant had seen her enter the house.
Even the guard was surprised to see him pull up alone.

Mairaaj punched the wall in fraustration. The ring  in his hand collected concrete in it.

He got back into the car and roamed around the city hoping to get a glimpse of someone in a white silk dress but nothing.

His men had also been looking for Noor, but nobody saw nothing. Suddenly, the ring of his phone brought him out of dread.
Without even looking at the caller ID, Mairaaj picked up the phone," Malik Sahab, maalkin ghar vaapis aagyi hn. Ap please jaldi se vaapis aajye."
