Nico didn't overly mind the darkness. But every once in a while, he felt as if it was going to consume him. He was already in a literal black pit.
He stumbled around when he lost his sense of direction and had to take a break from wandering. At one point, he didn't know what he was sitting on but it felt good to rest.
Oh and there was the cat that was following him, that also had an atrocious purr.
He was sort've glad that he was alone, otherwise, he wouldn't have admitted to being even the slightest bit tired.

After taking what seemed like a five minute break, he looked ahead and saw the usual darkness. Then the outline of a figure formed. It was silver and human like. Immediately, Nico knew who it was.
He was too tired to suspect it as a trick.

"Bianca!" He called out.

"Nico?" The familiar voice answered.

He ran towards her and she hugged him.

Bianca glanced at the cat, then straightened her back.

"We need to get out of here." Her voice wasn't urgent, but contained importance.

A/N: Short part. No excuse. Just another short part.
As I mentioned on my other fanfic for the Willow Falls series, I will try to update my fanfic (either one) on Tuesdays. No promises, it's just the start to a schedule but I thought I should mention that. Also, as said before, I am slowly wrapping this story up as it nears the end. I can't really estimate how many more parts there'll be but as you know, I'm not fast at uploading or anything.
As always: Rick Riordan's characters.
