Once again, Bianca was uncertain of the amount of time passing as she searched with Nico for an exit.
She could still feel a dull pain in the back of her head from being unconcious. But it looked as if Nico was even wearier.
He paused in his steps and took a deep breath. Bianca kept her head high in case anything was about to happen.

"Hey, are you okay?" She said lightly.

"Yeah, let's keep going." Nico turned his head away.

"I think we're safe to rest for a moment. Look, I need to discuss something with you. In case we, uh, don't get out of here. Any time soon, I mean." Bianca tried to keep the nerves from her voice.

Nico stopped immediately.
She had his attention completely.

"How I got into this mess, how I got us both into this, was that stupid quest. But I shouldn't say it was stupid. Neeks, I just wanted to see you in real life. Not as a spirit. I... I wanted to make sure you were happy."

Then Bianca looked away.

"Gods, this is a mess. That's the obvious. But we've been in worse. You didn't have to do it. The quest, it was from Hades, right? Just because you're in the Underworld doesn't mean you have to obey our father., Nico sighed, I guess I'd do the same in your position. We're in this together and always will be. We're also getting out of this together."

"Right." Bianca agreed.

"By the way, I am happy. I think, if anything, Hades does want me to have a better life. Bianca, you're probably the one who knows how much I'd give to have you living the grand life with me." Nico laughed half heartedly.

Bianca pulled him into a hug.
They both continued to walk as Nico told Bianca about the latest events about Will Solace, starting with the Aphrodite cabin.
