chapter 16: Wicked, clever, and brave

The room was quiet, and Olivia layed on the ground with her neck wound healing very slowly. The liquid that Ashley had poured on Olivia's neck was meant to keep Olivia alive enough so that the "supposedly evil d-cks" could kill her. But the d-cks aren't evil, they were only misunderstood by Ashley. But Ashley couldn't know this, because Ashley's childhood was pure torture, and believe me it is extremely hard to forgive the people who tortured you. Even if that's not the entire story of your childhood...

"Good evening students, and welcome to Mayfolk. This will be your new school, so follow me to your dormitories, this is where you shall sleep", mistress Kelly announced. She was about 52 years old, and was one of the smartest people that worked at Mayfolk. The students followed mrs.Kelly up a flight of stairs, and were lead to a hall which contained 3 doors. She pulled out a sheet of paper, but the writing was very small. Soon after this a pair of reading glasses were pulled out of her pocket, and put on her head. Three signs guarded each door, as if to say that that was your personality. The following doors were marked as either wicked, brave, or clever. She stood and began to call names, leading them to they're dorms. "For wicked we have...
Oh crap, that means that she could call on me. Ohh, i'm so nervous. I hate being called on, the girl thought. "And that is all for wicked", the mistress said. Thank goodness, the girl thought. "And now for clever", the mistress said. Then for a moment the girl suspected that she would be in cunning, yet her name wasn't called.
And then finally, the last dorm left was none other than brave.
"And now for brave, I need madison, Katherine, Zoeth, Alex, Dylan, Keri, and ms. Ashley", Kelly said. All of a sudden the girls face lit up, and all of the other students went to they're dorms except for her. "Come along now Ashley", Kelly said. This didn't help Ashley, it only made her more embarrassed..

Later on that night in Mayfolk, the students in the courage dorm began to talk, and discuss what was to come of the school year. "I think it'll be a wonderful year", Katie said. "Yeah, but this place gives me the creeps", Alex said. "Yeah, it's just great. A school for orphans, whoop dee doo", Ashley said. "What's up with you", Madison asked. Then the room fell silent, everyone turned their attention to Ashley. Ashley looked at the others and sighed. "What do you think", she asked. "I'm a ginger, I get picked on 24/7, and nobody can stop that", she said. The others were quiet, but then zoeth stood up. She had a hopeful look on her face. She smiled at the others, and then she began to speak. "We cannot stop it, but I know that we can help prevent it. Bullying is a virus in our society that can never be stopped, but like I have said, it can be prevented", Zoe said. "What a terrific idea", a young man announced. "By the way, my names Dylan", he said. "Maybe we should go around the room and announce names", Madison said. "Okay, I'm Ashley", Ashley said. "I'm Alex", Alex said. "I'm zo- AHH", zoe screamed as she fell to the floor. "Oh my gosh, she's having a seizure", Katie yelled. "How do we stop it", Alex said. But all he got in return was a bunch of confused looks and shrugs. Then he began to panic, and he ran over to zoe. "I'm not having a seizure idiots", Zoe yelled. "But my thighs feel like I was going for a walk in the hood, and I offended a group of shaved headed men", she yelled. "As horrible as that sounds, we forgive you", Katie said. Zoe screamed. "Wait a minute, I know how to get rid of the pain. Your muscles need to stretch zoe, try doing some stretches or squats", Alex said. Right after Alex said this, the entire dorm helped zoe do some stretches, and pretty soon after she felt normal again. "Huh, we did something all together", Zoe said. "As a team", Dylan replied. They all smiled, and then Zoe looked at Ashley. "To Ashley", she yelled. "Let this group live on, we are the fighters of difference. For we are all the same", Zoe said. "What should be our name", Madison asked. "Well", Alex said. "Considering the little squat incident, How about..
"Squat squad", Ashley said.
"I like it", Katie said. And then the whole dorm nodded in agreement. "Hands in", Alex said. Then the whole group put their hands in. "Long live Mayfolk, and long live squat squad", the group said in unison. Then footsteps were heard from down the hall, and all of the kids rushed for their beds, and then the steps faded away...
