I was running towards the hospital really quickly.

I was out watching a movie with my friends when my mom called me telling me what happened to Marco.

I immediately left the movie theater without telling my friends and rode a taxi to the hospital.

When I arrived at the hospital, I ran up to the front desk and asked, "What room is Marco Silver in?"

The front desk lady looked up from her computers and told me to ride the elevator up to the second floor and turn right. She said his room number was 202.

She probably didn't even ask my relations with my twin brother, Marco, because we looked so much alike.

I rushed to the elevator and mumbled a curse word when the elevator was on the tenth floor.

I used the stairs and ran up to the second floor.

I arrived in front of the room number 202 and cautiously opened the door.

My twin brother that understood and loved me like no others was lying on the bed motionless.

He was attached to bunch of wires and machines and my whole body fell apart looking at the scene.

I fell to the ground and I didn't even realize it, but I was crying non-stop.

My parents came from behind me and I heard my mom crying.

My dad, Lucas, hugged me from behind and told me it was going to be okay.

I just shrugged him off and ran towards Marco.

I screamed and shouted at him to wake up and stop joking around. He would always joke around to make me nervous.

He would always make me smile even though I was sad and he would always help me when I needed him.

He was the best brother anyone could ask for.

Our family doctor, Eve, came in and told our family that we should talk in her office.

My parents and the doctor explained to me that Marco got in an accident due to riding his motorcycle way over the speed limit.

Apparently, he was excited about how he got into Montarlo's Boy High School. He wanted to tell me about it because I told Marco that he wouldn't be able to make it in because the school had high expectations.

He wanted to prove me wrong, so he tried out.

He got in.

Marco was so happy that he raced towards the movie theater to see me but got hit by a drunk truck driver.

The doctor said, "Marco is alive, but he is currently in a coma. I don't know how long he will be in it, but it could take days, weeks, months, or years for him to wake up."

My mom started screaming bloody murder at the doctor and my dad was trying to calm her down.

I didn't even care anymore.

All I cared about was that I needed Marco to say this was all just a joke.

I left the doctor's private office and ran to room 202.

Marco was still lying on the bed.

I ran up to him and shouted, "Marco, you are really scaring me. I don't know how you got the doctor to lie to all of us, but it's not funny. You need to wake up. Stop it!"

He didn't even move, it was as if he was dead.

No.

He has tricked me like this many times, so I still thought he was joking.
