I was finally here.

I came later in the day because tomorrow will be the first day of school.

Also, I didn't want to meet all the guys.

They were probably going to look at me and call me the new guy that's way short to be a guy..

What if they figured out that I was actually a girl?

No.

I will not let that happen.

I will hide myself and never allow anyone to find out..

I even lied to my parents about it.

Well, I did lie to both of my parents, but my mom found out.

Flashback:

I found my parents downstairs.

My dad was trying to help my mom eat while my mom just refused to eat.

When my mom isn't eating, this means she is really depressed.

I sighed and went downstairs.

I had to lie to them.

I walked up to my parents and my mom hugged me crying about Marco.

She was still sad even though a week has passed.

The pain became numb for me because I knew Marco will wake up soon.

Call it twin telepathy, but he was telling me that he will wake up.

I know I'm weird. Lol.

I faced my parents and cautiously said, "Mom, Dad, I have to tell you guys something. I tried out for an all girls high school in Paris. Mom used to live in Paris and I'm good at french. They accepted me and I will be going to that school. I know it's wrong to be leaving when Marco is like that but I really want to go."

I hope this lie worked because this was the best I could think of.

My parents looked at me intently and my dad said, "If you really want to Maddy, I don't see why not. Just please visit us often."

Inside, I was screaming with joy.

My mom was looking at me like she knew I was lying and I avoided eye contact.

I'm not a very good liar.

I went upstairs to start packing when I heard a knock on my door.

It was my mom.

She raised her eyebrows at me and she said, "I know you are lying about the school in Paris because you never were interested in attending a school in Paris anytime I suggested it to you."

I got nervous and said, "Haha.. mom. I changed my mind... uh.. yeah.. that.."

She just raised her right eyebrow at me.

Sigh.

She knew.

I am such a bad liar.

I sighed and told her my plan.

You know how when you tell your mom your brilliant plan, they are supposed to get mad and say no?

Guess what my mom said?

She jumped up and down and said,"OMG THAT'S A BRILLIANT PLAN! I KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO BE AN AMAZING TROUBLEMAKER LIKE I WAS!! LET ME HELP YOU!"

I was stunned.

I just stared at her and said, "I lost you at the saying omg.."

She shrugged and said she had her own adventures of pretending to be someone she's not.

This is why I like my mom.

She started helping me get ready and how she will convince daddy by saying she is contacting me in Paris daily so that he doesn't need to check up on me.

Did I say I like my mom?

No, I love my mom.

When the day for leaving to Montarlo's Boy High School came, I had to cut my hair.

Guess who cut it?

My mom!

She's really good with hair, so I trusted her.

She cut it to Marco's hair length and I was shocked when I looked in the mirror.

I looked exactly like Marco.

I missed him so much, but I was doing this for him.

He will be proud.

Hopefully.

End of flashback.

I stared at the huge school building.

This doesn't even count as a school.

This is a castle.

I sighed and tried to look for the main office.

It wasn't that late so it should still be opened. After hours of searching, I found the main office.

I entered and the front desk lady, Mrs. Cope, welcomed me with a smile.

She gave me my schedule and told me that a helper has been assigned to show me around.

His name was Elliot.

As I looked at him I was shocked.

He was hot. He had the whole bad boy thing going on and he had dark brown hair with clear light blue eyes.

He smiled at me with perfectly white and straight teeth.

He said, "Hi Marco! My name is Elliot!"

I greeted him back and he led me to my dorm room.

While we were walking there, he started to explain the school.

He said, "We have our own dorm rooms and we don't need to share with others because our building is huge. But, there are different sized dorm rooms. It depends on your star level. It's kind of complex, but overall, your teachers rate you by your grades, performance, and athletic abilities. Depending on how good you are, you either have five stars which is the highest level or the other stars, four, three, two, one. If you have none, that means you're pretty much a failure in this school. People tend to look down on you if you have none. So be careful!! Anyways, you are starting with two stars so you are considered lucky. You have a small room with just a bunk bed and a bathroom. But it's much better than a one or none star levels. Trust me. They do assessments every week on Friday. They even rank you in order on the huge bulletin board towards the main office."

He went on telling me the usual 'cliques' but with only boys.

When we arrived in front of my dorm room, he gave me the keys and said bye.

While I was trying to get my door to open, Elliot came running back.

He said, "I forgot to tell you this!! In order to survive in this school, you have to know this!! Our school is split into two, one belongs to Tristan and the other one belongs to Grayson. You will probably need to choose one side. I'm in Grayson's group. I have to go now. See you later!"

Groups?

I didn't have time for that. I was here to maintain Marco's good grades.

I needed to focus in school.

No distractions.
