The rest of the morning classes went well.

No drama. No anything.

It was time for lunch and we were all walking to the dining room.

Vincent came to me and wrapped his right arm around my shoulder.

He said, "Hey buddy!"

I just shook his arm off, but he put it right back on.

Ugh, I hated guys like him.

He started talking while everyone walking by was whispering while looking at us.

Huh.

Vincent seemed to notice this so he said, "You get used to it. People whisper about me because I am not in a 'group'. I AM NEUTRAL! I am close to both Grayson and Tristan and they can't bother me because I am strong and smart." He smiled proudly at that.

Oh, so you could be neutral?

He seemed to understand my expression because he said, "Only I can be neutral because people can't go against what I say. Like I said, I am too strong for them to bully me. Likewise, you.. they will probably beat you up. If you are going to be neutral don't go near shady places especially not alone."

Okay. Avoid shady places.

I heard Vincent murmur by saying, "Grayson is stronger and smarter than me though. He's too strong."

I looked at him and he just smiled at me like he didn't say anything just now.

I decided to let it go and we arrived at the dining hall.

It was huge and I wasn't even surprised because the school was like a castle so what do you expect the dining hall to look like.

The dining hall was set up as a buffet where we could go around choosing any type of food.

Asian, Italian, Indian, French, you name it and they have it all.

I'm in heaven.

As I loaded my plate up with food, I realized I didn't know where to sit.

Elliot was trying to wave me over to his table while Grayson just looked annoyed.

Ugh. When was he ever not annoyed?

Jack looked up and shouted, "Sit with us!"

That was the first time he didn't put the word 'like' in a sentence!!

His group 'leader', Tristan, looked up and looked at me amusedly.

I was confused.. was there something on my face?

Elliot and Jack seemed to be having an eye glaring fight and soon, I was being led by Vincent to his table.

He sat alone.

Ha. Loner.

He told me that it was best to avoid both of the group.

I noticed Tristan get away from his table group and come over to us.

Vincent smirked and said like a girl, "You can't sit with us."

Tristan said, "Haha very funny Vincent." He looked at me and smiled.

He was so cute and hot.

He winked at me.

Please don't say he's gay!

Vincent whispered saying he's not gay.

Ugh. Was he reading my mind now?

Tristan started eating with us and I noticed Elliot stand up.

He ran over to our table and glared at Tristan.

He said, "I called dibs on Marco being in Grayson's group. You can't just sit with him!"

Tristan just chose to ignore Elliot and Elliot was getting furious.

He punched Tristan's shoulder and the dining hall went dead silent.

Suddenly, the sweet Tristan seemed furious and he stood up.

He was tall. Very tall.

He grabbed Elliot by the front of his shirt and when he was about to punch him, a hand caught it right before it hit Elliot's face.

"I would suggest you to let go, Tristan."

It was Grayson who stopped Tristan.

Tristan just turned to look at Grayson and said, "Make me."

Grayson said, "I don't have the time to waste my time on you."

Tristan said, "Like how your family doesn't have time to spend time on you."

Everyone in the dining hall gasped like that was the worst thing to say.

Grayson's grayish blue eyes turned black and he looked like he was ready to kill Tristan.

When Grayson was about to punch Tristan, I got in the way and Grayson punched me instead.

Ouch!

I felt the wind pass me and I fell to the ground. I could taste blood from inside my mouth and I was pretty sure my face would be bruised.

Vincent came towards me and said, "Are you okay, Marco?"

Well, at least he said Marco instead of Madison.

I smiled at him but winced because it hurt. I responded by saying, "I have been better."

Vincent looked furious and he turned towards Grayson and Tristan.

He shouted, "Can you guys ever not fight? This causes problems for others too. You guys used to be best friends. Ugh." He turned to me and said, "Let's go to the nurse's office before class starts, Marco."

I stood up and was about to follow Vincent when a hand grabbed my arm.

Sparks travelled all over my body and I felt a chemistry between the person who touched me and I.

I turned to look at my arm and the hand.

I followed the very muscular arm that belonged to the hand and found Grayson looking intently at me.

He had a confused expression on his face when he noticed I was looking at him.

His face turned cold again and he said, "Which group are you in?"

Vincent just sighed, but I was focused more on Grayson's grayish - blue eyes.

They were dark and mysterious, filled with a bad past.

I didn't know what to do.

I was quiet when I heard Jack scream, "Just choose already!"

Vincent was about to come and stop all this when I whispered something quietly.

Grayson and Tristan both froze and looked at me.

Others looked confused.

I said it louder this time and shouted, "I don't want to be in a 'group'. I will be neutral like Vincent is."

Some gasped while others had mischievous grins on their faces.

Grayson glared coldly at me and said, "Have it your way, but don't come crying saying you regret your decision. We don't have second chances here."

He left bumping his shoulder against Tristan's.

Some people started to leave following Grayson while Tristan just looked at me curiously and left with his group.

I was left with Vincent and he said, "Well, you just made your life even harder by being the new target of this school. Good luck!"
