Madison's POV:

I just told Grayson that I gave up on him. I was hurt by his words and there was nothing I could do to bring his memories back. I was disappointed in myself.

I heard Tristan run after me and he shouted, "Madison! Wait up!" I turned around and tried to smile but it turned into a grimace. He came up to me and stopped right in front of me. He reached out and wiped tears under my eyes. He smiled at me and said, "It's okay."

Those words just made me cry more.

He brought me close and put his arms around my shoulders and told me it was okay to cry. I hugged him back and cried harder. Soon, I was too tired and I pulled back. I said, "Thanks."

I turned around and was about to walk out when I bumped into a tall guy. I stared up at him in shock and stayed frozen. He looked so much like Grayson.

He looked down upon me and frowned and asked, "Are you Madison?"

I nodded and heard Tristan shout, "John?"

This guy looked at him and smiled and I knew he was Grayson's father.

He asked us where Grayson was and we both led him to his room amazed. The cold guy Grayson always described was no where to be seen and he seemed to be really worried for his son.

When we reached his door, he told us to go and that he wanted to talk to his son privately. Tristan and I nodded and we let him enter.

Grayson's POV:

When someone knocked on my door I wondered if that girl Madison was back. I turned towards the door and started to say, "Are you back to make me remember again? It's useless because-" I looked at the person in front of the door and froze in shock.

"Father?"

He looked at me and replied, "Grayson."

"Why are you here?"

My father sighed and started apologizing. I was shocked he never ever did that at all. I frowned at him and he seemed to notice my confusion. He said, "What you told me last time we met made me realize things. When you worked at my office and with the construction site, I realized how much you have grown. I realized how much I neglected you and I felt so bad. When you did so much to improve the office just to help me, I realized I didn't want to lose you, son. When you told me about why you are doing this and who told you to do it, I realized Madison was right. I was a fool to neglect you and I want to make things right from now on."

I was shocked what was he talking about? Then I remembered Tristan telling me how I worked at my father's office these past few days before the accident. I worked because Madison told me to. Suddenly, I felt this emotion that was screaming at me to realize something, but before I could remember everything blanked into a white piece of paper.

My father came near me and patted my back and said, "I'm proud of you and I'm really sorry."

I looked up at him and gave him a weak smile. Even though making up with my father was a good news, something was still bothering me about Madison.

Madison's POV:

Even though Tristan and I knew it was wrong, as soon as Grayson's father went in, we both put our ears by the door to listen.

We couldn't hear clearly at first, but we started to hear better a little later. When I realized what they were talking about, I smiled. They are finally making up. Despite how much I despised Grayson right now, I still loved him.

I pulled back and told Tristan to give them a moment together. He nodded and pulled back. Soon, we sat at a nearby seat waiting for them to be finished. When Grayson's father came out we turned and smiled at him.

He smiled back at us and turned to look at me. He asked, "May I talk to you Madison?" I nodded and Tristan left us to talk privately. Grayson's father said, "Hi, I'm Grayson's dad, but you can call me John."

I replied, "Madison."

He suddenly smiled at me and said, "Thank you for all that you have done for Grayson. I really appreciate it. He has fully grown into a good man and I realized I needed to be more involved with his life. I neglected him too much and he was always lonely. He reached me for attention and I think that is due to you. I want to thank you for what you did. He truly likes and cares about you."

I didn't know what to say, but I could feel tears coming down from my eyes. I was happy and sad. Happy because Grayson was finally good with his father, but sad because I felt like Grayson will never love me back anymore.

When John left I looked at Grayson's room and entered. Grayson was sleeping on the bed and I cautiously walked towards it. I smiled looking down at him and touched his hair to get rid of how messy it was.

I turned to leave when suddenly Grayson caught my wrist. I turned back around and started mumbling. "I was just here to uhm see someone and I was going to leave uhm now." I tried leaving, but he still had a tight grip on my wrist.

I looked at Grayson and he was looking at me curiously. I seriously do not like it when people stare at me so I was avoiding eye contact. He said, "You are such a mystery. I try to figure you out but all you give me is a headache. Yet, I feel like I need to remember you." Then he sighed and swiftly moved his hand down from my wrist to my hand. He held onto my hand and my hear was beating like crazy. Suddenly, his cold expression was back and he told me to leave.

It has been several days after all this occurred and it was time for Grayson to leave the hospital. Grace told me they were going on a welcome home vacation with Grayson to their private beach house and she invited all of us to come. That hospital volunteer, Olivia, was also invited to come. I rejected saying Grayson wouldn't want me to come, but Grace insisted I come. Due to her constant begging, I finally agreed.

When I arrived at Grace's house with Marco, everyone was there including Tristan, Elliot, Jason, Vincent, Grayson, and Olivia. Grace ran up to me and pulled me in for a hug. She shouted, "You came!" I nodded and she led me to the guys with Marco. I avoided eye contact with Grayson while all the guys pulled me in for a pat on the back or a hug.

I don't know why, but I could feel Grayson's burning stare on my back. I turned my head slightly to look and he was staring intently at me. It seemed like he was about to say something, but I swiftly turned back around.

I felt like this trip was going to be a long one.
