I cleaned up the cabin and left out the front door. I wouldn't come back here for at least another couple of months.
When everything was set, I led myself to his car. While I was cleaning, he was not helping at all and I was a bit pissed off at him.
I crossed my arms and walked towards where he was standing. He looked up when I came over and smiled. Okay, you can not stay mad at Grayson when he smiles at you. It's just not physically or mentally possible.
I headed over to him and tried to act pissed off. This failed miserably because he put his arm around my shoulder and opened the door with his free arm.
When I went into the car, I was shocked. Inside, there were bunch of little heart sticky notes. Each memo had a little note on it about our fun memories. It was literally all over the car and I tried to read all of them. I could notice how it must have taken forever for him to do all this.
I looked at him and asked, "When did you do all this?"
He shrugged nonchantly and told me to get into the car. He opened the door for me and I felt like a 19th century woman.
When, I sat down, he closed the door and went to sit on the driver's seat.
Finally, we left the cabin.
The whole time we were going, I bugged Grayson on where he was taking me. He ignored me and just playfully told me to wait.
I was known for being very impatient so I unconsciously tapped my foot.
Soon, we arrived at this beautiful place. I didn't really know where we were though because I have never been to this side of the town.
I looked at Grayson with confusion and he chuckled at my reaction. He ran to the other side and opened the door for me.
He smiled at me and said, "You probably don't know this place, but this used to belong to my mom. She gave it to me when she passed away." I could see the pain in his eyes when he said this.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and let him hold onto me. He said, "You are seriously making it hard for me to focus, Madison."
I chuckled this time and said, "It was unintentional." He leaned back a bit and laughed with me. We seemed to do this a lot lately. We treasured the time we spent with one another because soon we both knew how we will need to separate.
He held my hand and his hand was really rough yet it had a softness to it. I smiled at his nervous expression. I questioned him with my eyes.
He said, "It took me a long time to prepare this. Though, I admit that I did get help from my friends."
I raised my right eyebrow and asked, "Marco and the others?"
He nodded.
"How did you know I would go with you?"
He said, "A good guess?"
I laughed at him and he said, "That was why I was whispering with Tristan."
I started laughing harder because at that time, I thought he hated me. How wrong I was. He was actually trying to make things better, but it happened faster than he expected.
He sighed and said, "I was going to apologize to you here for not coming to find you after you left. You must have gone through a lot too."
I smiled at him and gave him another hug. We just stared at each other for a long time because we didn't want our time to end.
Grayson grinned and said, "I think I can get used to your hugs."
I pulled back and punched his stone-hard chest playfully.
Finally, we arrived in front of the house and it was beautiful. I didn't really know what to call this. Was this a house or a mansion?
He seemed to understand my confusion because he said, "It's a house, but you could do a lot here. My mom built it with uhm him."
I looked over at him and noticed how 'him' was his dad. I decided to drop the topic for later because at this moment I just wanted it to be just about us. I am sure he wanted that too.
We walked in and I noticed all the lights around the house. I smiled at this because I could totally understand that this was all Marco's idea. He was obsessed with lights. He did this for our parent's anniversary two years ago, but it kind of failed because one of the candle got caught onto a curtain and it almost burned down our door.
He got in big trouble for that while I laughed at him. I just prepared my parents a ticket to go to a nice spa and my parents loved it. I still remember Marco pouting and complaining at me.
Grayson pulled me into the house and I looked around at all the decorations. I could understand how some of the decorations were Vincent's idea while others were Tristan. If Tristan was calm, Vincent was very uhm inappropriate.
Grayson sighed at this and said, "I warned the others to not let Vincent help with the decorations. Well, that was a failure."
I touched his shoulder lightly with my hand and he looked over at me. I said, "It's beautiful."
He smiled at me and pulled me towards the backyard by holding my hand. Whenever he touched my hand, I had tingles starting from my hand and going to my whole body.
There was a small, vintage table and all sorts of food were on top of it.
This just got even more beautiful.
I rushed to the table and said, "Is that steak I see because I haven't ate them in a long time."
Grayson nodded at me and said, "It's all yours."
I started eating quickly and Grayson stared amusedly at me. He said, "You are the first girl who ate like that in front of me."
I stopped eating and narrowed my eyes at him. I asked, "There were other girls?"
He smirked at me and said, "Plenty."
I really let go of my eating utensils and said, "I want to leave."
His smirk only grew bigger and said, "Is Miss Madison jealous?"
I frowned at him and shouted, "Why would I be?!" Who am I kidding? I was getting more jealous by the minute.
He smiled at my obvious lie and said, "You are the only girl that I have come to love and you should be jealous because you are my girlfriend."
I stopped thinking about how many girlfriends he had before because he just said I was his girlfriend.
I love that word now.
